You're throwing up a ridiculous straw man argument. I'm not voting for Hillary or staying home or voting third party. But I am trying to alert some of you to the evil you are wishing on our nation. The Republican Party is the opposition party to the abortionist, gay agenda, gun-grabbing, God denying, Democrat socialist Party. I want American liberty and our traditional American conservative value system to live on long after we defeat the foreign enemy. We cannot defeat evil by joining it. We have plenty of pro-life conservatives that we can back for the Republican nomination. We can't save the nation or the party by emulating the domestic enemy.

That, sir, is one of the best posts I've ever seen posted on Free Republic.

Herman Badilo is not a "mental midget" and was the man leading the charge to get CCNY to close the open adnissions program and won that fight.

As to the rest of your post, it doesn't look much different from what was slung up and spewed all over FR in '99 and 2000 about President Bush; except that you have now used more pejorative language and veered off pretty darned close into the N word territory.

Come on now. Badillo helped reform CUNY while Rudy was mayor and was a trusted advisor.

I am sure that Rudy knows that commie Chavez is evil and understands the geo-political situation in Latin America.

As far as the Mid-East goes, he knew that Arafat was a terrorist prior to 9/11 and kicked him out of some city events and he fully understands more than anyone that these jihadists want to kill us. He also refused money from a Saudi scumbag after 9/11 when the Saudi claimed that the US was partially to blame for 9/11.

Guiliani is from New York, which is a city based on diversity and home of the UN. He fully appreciates what is happening in Europe and China. He also has shown that he has the balls to stand up to union scumbags in NYC and will stand up to the Chinese, the jihadists and the frogs, as needed.

In sum, going after Rudy for his record on social issues is on thing, however, goigng after him on foreign policy is quite a stretch, given his track record.

Yeah, I mean, after all, he brought 'foreign policy' right into every New Yorker's back yard with his sanctuary city policy....hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals, in fact.

Herman Badillo became a Republican in 2000.

Yeah, as a matter a fact I have and that's what makes it all the more stunning. Some of you guys who signed up in the beginning think you are immune from criticism just because you been around here a long time. There's a word for that--ARROGANCE! Here's the deal, if you are for Rudy, why don't you proudly admit you are a liberal republican and quit being ashamed of it. I know most liberals don't like the liberal label, which is understandable, but you are what you are--be proud!

It's a typical ploy of liberals to call truth a different name. If the truth (Rudy's record) is so destructive then obviously Rudy doesn't stand a chance to be elected. It would seem to me that anything that is posted about Rudy's record (as long as it is truthful and honest) that you would welcome it, no?

Rudy has his faults, but it will be fun, over the next few months, to watch him make Hillary look like what she is... a two-faced opportunist.

I just hear him say on H&C that marriage should be between a amn and a woman.

Did he mention gay domestic partnerships? What does he mean by that? What's the difference? It's like Bush not wanting to call amnesty "Amnesty". There really is no difference except semantics. Giuliani is FOR gay marriage.

at the federal level? I doubt he is for that, let him clarify. the federal government is going to come in with gay civil union laws to override a state that has decided it doesn't want them?

Just as Roe v. Wade legalized abortion on demand throughout all 9 months, so would another potential court ruling. Look how impossible it has been to overturn Roe v. Wade since the legal atrocity occured. The Federal Marriage Amendment - co-authored by THE strict constructionist Judge Robert Bork - would have protected states from such a ruling as it pertains to gay marriage/domestice partnerships/civil unions. Giuliani strongly and vocally opposed the Federal Marriage Amendment.

I have many, many concerns about Rudy, but as far as him cringing if he touched a weapon, when he prosecuted the mob and broke up their stranglehold over the Fulton Fish Market, the garment industry, and the waste and cement industries, I imagine he was carrying and familiar with weapons, just because he was so hated by the mob, don't ya' think?

nittanylion, why did a state like Texas (at one time), have restrictive CCW laws?

I have no idea.

It has been refuted, with ease and alacrity; often.

No, it hasn't. Not even close. It has withstood every question that has been posed about it. You're making stuff up. And only 2 or 3 items on the LONG list have even been questioned. Even IF somehow those items were wrong (and they're not) almost the entire chart still holds up and it demonstrates how much Giuliani is aligned with Hillary and the Democrats on most issues.

Partial birth abortion. ONLY to save life of mother ...not otherwise.

First, you're making that up. Second, there is never ANY medical reason EVER to kill the child after it is 90% delivered in order to save the life of the mother. EVER! Thank you for proving how utterly clueless you are.

...By echoing Hillary's penchant for being a two-faced opportunist.

Hillary and Giuliani are BOTH two-faced opportunists. Giuliani has been a liberal his entire life - well, until he decided to run for the Republican nomination and now he's trying to tell the BIG lie that he's really not a liberal - actually a conservative. A former liberal Democrat, he's spent his entire career governing like a Democrat while alienating his own party. Ask the Republican Party Chairs in NYC at the time that he ran for Senate how they felt about Giuliani's Republica cred. In fact, 3 out of 5 of them could not support him. He was considered a traitor.

Until 9/11, he was pariah to Republicans. Then he successfully did his job without tripping over his ego and he's been opportunistically capitalizing on the 9/11 attacks ever since. Two-faced opportunist? Precisely.
