For some reason I have a good gut feeling about RG, as opposed to Newt, McCain et al. McCain can be angry and irrational at times -- not the type you want as Chief Executive. Newt is great, but comes across as too cerebral, plus he has left over personal issues with his first wife and his term as Speaker. Romney I don't know about, but he gives me the opposite of a good gut feeling; I'm just not comfortable but don't know why. Hunter needs to make himself known. Bottom line is that I want someone who can win in 2008.

Stop it with Obama. He jumped in just to validate a woman being able to run. Minority, woman, starting to get the picture?
The Lizard Queen will have Bill Richardson as her running mate. So let it be written, so let it be done.

I believe he is running. I just do not believe he is a republican. This rino makes a better democrat.

The Lizard Queen will have Bill Richardson as her running mate. Richardson getting on the (D) ticket (either as Pres *or* Veep) would be a nightmare scenario in my opinion.

More likely Mark Warner or Evan Bayh- their home states have more electoral votes than New Mexico.

Speaking as a hyphenated one, I hope Rudy gives 'em all an offer they can't refuse.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to this primary season. It seems that the GOP will field a diverse group of candidates, which will likely help the party in the long run. My suspicion is that Rudy will be more liberal than I'd like, but on the other hand we could use a strong and persuasive person in the White House.
I plan to let this primary play out before I criticize or support a candidate.

At one time I had a link but it is somewhere in all the threads.
I like to link everything too. Was trying to explain one day that the University of Oklahoma does not permit students to use Wikipedia because they don't source their information and it can be changed pretty much at will. Someone got mad at that -- my comments had nothing to do with the post only the fact that if a university doesn't honor the source, then I won't use it even if it suited what I wanted to post.

Of course there will be some conservative numbskulls that would sit the election out -- helping the Hildabeast get elected in the process -- but, hopefully those brain-dead types will be few in number. There are lots of reasons not to like Rudy, but if he's the Republican candidate, there will be no rational excuse not to support him.

Warner doesn't have the Iraq war baggage that the moonbats hate.

I said that I'm looking for someone who would: a) uphold traditional morality (against abortion and homosexuality); b) be strong on national defense and security (against terrorism and illegal immigration); and c) want to reduce the size, scope, and spending of Big Government (against federal involvement in health, education, and other powers not delegated to it).
From what I know of them, each of the "frontrunners"--McCain, Giuliani, and Romney--would fail on one or more of those points. Gingrich I don't trust either.
So how about the "unelectables"? Brownback, Hunter, Huckabee, Sanford, Tancredo, Thompson, et al.? How do they compare on these issues?

Check out Duncan Hunter! He is a true conservative, a real republican! No Hillary-lite for president!
We should not have to emasculate the GOP to win!!
