here's the rumor...
FNC is going to air two episodes of a show called "The Half-Hour News Hour" in early February. if these episodes do well, then it will become a regular show.
the program will be conservate news satire in the style of John Stewart and that sort of thing.
there will be a lot of cameos by famous conservatives... including Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter.
the first air date looks to be February 9th, and the show is being made by one of the producers of 24...
I just knew there would be a lot of bad jokes after posting that first pic! (LOL)
Well thank you. That is what makes FR such a fun place to hang!
"FR such a fun place "
Without a sense of humor, even on the serious subjects, you won't enjoy your stay here!
I have been around FR for I guess a couple of years now, and I have gotten to see just about every kind of animal there is in the FR jungle. I like the people here, and many of us have become thread friends.
So that is what I mean by fun, living in Vermont, I have little occasion to communicate with other Republicans on subjects that matter a lot personally. All we get here in the VT media are continually spun tirades on one issue or another. Not much substance, so FR has kept me somewhat politically sane.
So overall I have brought my humor along to the forum, and find that we somehow almost all share the same form of twisted Republican humor, even the self righteous among us. We seem to have a uniform culture in that regard. For me that is fun.
Also I get to communicate with people who are in different countries, especially Iraq and canada. Just did some mail to Norway to a freeper who is over visiting his fiance's folks. He said the snow there was waist high in Bergen. Not much talk of Global warming there now.
Keep the faith, and catch you later!
Does anyone know the exact start date or time for the show? I definitely want to tune in and set the tivo.
I just did a search for 'news hour' on DISH and there were no matches. Any updates on the start date?
ping deux...
