"I voted straight republican. Always have, except for a brain fart in 1976. No further explanation needed there."
That was no mere brain fart, it was a 4 year case of violent projectile diarrhea.

Is the Sargeant-At-Arms, retired secret service agent Bill Livingwood, is being disrespected tonight? He is not being allowed to do the introductions. CNN said he will only get to split the introduction of President Bush with the Democrat caucus cloak room manager. This is the "ruling" of Pelosi.
If Pelosi has done such a thing good for her! Maybe at some point the STUPID WIMPY Republicans might grow some stones and when they get back in power actually USE the power. They should take notes on how the Democrats got back the power and what they do once they get it. I'm apalled and amazed how badly the Republicans screwed up.
American politics is hard knuckled and bloody. The president wanted a "new tone" and turned the other cheek over and over. Dumb move.

Kucinich is kind of like a 3-eyed fish in a bowl: you can't help but marvel at its insistence in existence.

I once voted Green, but it's a long story. The candidate had no shot (nor did the Republican in the race -- the Republican that year was Al Hirschfeld and I CANNOT vote for him) and I knew Green candidate socially, so I voted for him.

He's not gonna quit 'till he pisses off every conservative in the country. There are a few hundred left. Tonight may just do it. Has he called for Mexican statehood yet? Hang on to your seat. It may happen tonight. LOL No doubt he's going to lose quite a few more tonight.

How can these left wing hate filled lunatics show their faces and jump over each other to shake the President hand after they butcher him every minute and 24/7.

I'm sure someone's said it already (just got here...), but Kucinich is the McKinney of SOTU '07.

I'm with you, cgk. I think there's a lot of us here, we just don't make as much noise to put in nicely.

The group "Garbage" has a song that fits the Democrat party so well along with their name.
The song is called "IM ONLY HAPPY WHEN IT RAINS"
