The fact that no one was arrested and jailed for contempt of court for saying that, in a courtroom, is yet another indictment of the Durham justice system.
I hope the AG of NC was watching. I think he needs to make sure all of that stays targetted at Nifong and does not get turned on him. And some of it will get turned on him, if he tries to bail out his buddy Nifong.
Nifong failed prosecution 101, you don't go after people with a lot of resources unless you have them dead to right. Maybe Nifong now understands why that is the first rule of being a prosecutor.
Dook takes a huge hit. Who would spend $40k to send a kid to Durham when there are som many $40k options. And risk life savings in legal fees because your kid is a white male.

And please spare me all the THs who say Rae Evans' shouldn't have said this and that her expressed revenge is inappropriate. This is a real mother with real passion who is protecting her child. And the other two mothers were nodding.

I was adding in 3,000 on 9-11-2001 since I was talking about civilian and military deaths in WWII being 60,000,000+.
Those of us that have been following this story since the beginning know that this 60 Minutes magazine piece barely skims the surface of all that has gone on in this case.
Beyond Nifong's astonishing, grossly irresponsible criminal behavior, lies the utterly racist enviroment that allows a totally amoral political hack like Nifong to know that he can gain political traction simply by bringing a case against innocent white boys in a black town. Sadly, as Mrs. Seligmann implied, this could happen anywhere.
You need to add those lost on 9/11.
