Your son is a hero. We are grateful for his sacrifice, although I know right now, that doesn't make it easier for you.

What horror.
Yet . . . What an honored relief.
We are all going to be on the front lines sooner than any of us would prefer.
Let us all have his attitude, spirit, perspective.
To live is Christ, to die is gain.
But what a hole in one's life to lose access to such a precious son. Mind bogglingly numbing, I'd think.
Prayers for you and family. May the God of all Comfort be yours thickly in provision, protection, wisdom, perspective, hope, peace, guidance . . .
God be with you in every needful way. And may He give you more of the desires of your heart than you would expect.
More and more, I get wistful at such graduations . . . that they didn't take me with them.
God be with you.
I believe the Lord has a special reward set aside for those like your son. Otherwise, why would he single them out for praise?

Immense condlolences to you and to Mom of Chris Mason and to the whole family and to all who loved and cherished him.
I am humbly grateful to him for the service to his country. And to all of you for your sacrifice.
May God rest Chris's soul in peace. May He continue with all of you, that your sorrow be godly sorrow and not worldly sorrow.
