I love that vignette!
Resting in front of the house, I thought about what a humble man he was.

Cheney is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I hope Betty doesn't crack during this one. His daughter is weeping. I hope Cheney doesn't crack during this. He sounds, understandably so, like he's having a hard time. This man, our VP, is a national treasure, and who knows whether we'll see one like him again anytime soon.

I am so thankful that this happened BEFORE "they" took over.

As Cheney talks about Ford's honesty and decency, the camera goes to Schumer. Does someone at Fox have a sense of humor.

His daughter is weeping. .....
Daddy's girl. They were a normal family. A normal, modern family, just like us.

I am so thankful that this happened BEFORE "they" took over. Indeed. They just showed some shots of Upchuck and Combover (Schumer and Levin)...

That can't be true (about pronounced dead) as Pipe 3 on CNN Pipeline just showed him be loaded on the ambulance.

I heard his voice deepen. He lives this, he feels every word ... this was his nearly life long friend.
God bless Richard Cheney.

Talking about fainting reminds me of my niece. She was very, very sick for months. She went and had every test known to see what the problem was. She went to specialists in Memphis and Birmingham. Well, one day, she was talking with my daughter. DD told her to have her vitamin B 12 checked to see if that was causing her to pass out when she walked, lifted her hands to wash her hair, etc. Sure enough, that was what was wrong with her. A simple test did what numerous tests did not do, find the problem. You never know.

I always felt like Ford was like us, that he didn't take himself too seriously and he didn't think he was the be all end all because the became president. Yes! THIS was one quality that made him such a great man and a good President.
