I was opposed to it until I thought it out. A murder is the taking of a life where the victim has been unable to defend themselves within the realm of "equality". We become the equalizer after the fact. In other words, the defender of the innocent. That's "justice". Evil should never triumph. It is against all the laws of logic. It can only result in extermination.

We use this logic for "preservation laws". Why we don't use it for abortion defies logic!!!!

IIRC, Rupe was able to purchase prison candy with script and ballooned his weight up to a point his neck was certain to snap at hanging; hence "cruel and unusual" punishment defense.

This caused the Washington State Legislature to add chemical execution

Whereas Rupe "legally" contended this was not available at time of sentencing therefore could not be applied to him.

Which ultimately resulted in his death sentence being changed to a life sentence.
