Sen. John McCain has signed a letter for the Environmental Defense Action Fund, in which the Arizona Republican emphasizes the group's support for his bill that aims to place "the first-ever national cap on global warming pollution."
Mr. McCain, in his letter, mentions no specific type of "pollution," although carbon dioxide has been the main target of anti-global-warming lobbyists. Carbon dioxide is produced in large part by human breathing and cattle flatulence.
The Environmental Defense Action Fund sent out the mailing, including Mr. McCain's letter, in which it asked for contributions and for recipients to sign and mail a prewritten "petition" asking their home-state senators to support Mr. McCain's bill.
"To mobilize forward-thinking citizens like you, I've again teamed up with Environmental Defense Global Warming Action Network because of their long track record of producing results," Mr. McCain said.

Every time I think I could relent and vote for McCain, he makes me re-think that posittion.
Yet another reason to NOT to vote for this RINO!
uh-oh!
Human brathing is a small factor in CO2 emmisions and cow flatulence is methane.
"the first-ever national cap on global warming pollution."
I'll stay home before I vote for anybody with that on their agenda.
I hope we never forget to remember to never let him forget he did this.
What an idjit.
Stop trying to inject science into a political debate. The facts are not important - feeling is. /sarc
I have made a vow to NEVER vote for McCrazy under any circumstance.
If McCain does become the candidate, the same people here who are criticizing "cut-and-run-conservatives" for not voting straight Republican (and actually, they did - it was Reagan Democrats and independents who left town) will be on these threads saying that we have to vote for McCain because he is the Republican. Forget his 6 years of obstruction, his opposition to the Patriot Act and handling at Guantanamo, his obstruction of conservative judges, his authorship of the amnesty laws that will be passed.
I guess Mc Con wants us to hold our breadth (pun intended) and vote for him.
IF by chance I had thought I could support McCain, this has removed all doubt I can "NOT" support this lunatic.
We have returned to the days of the "snake oil" salesmen peddling their expensive feel-good, do-nothing tonics.
You forgot McCain-Feingold.
(and actually, they did - it was Reagan Democrats and independents who left town)
Bingo.
So true....BTTT
Yes. First time I ever got a letter from the Environmental Defense Fund. I don't know why I'm on McCain's mailing list, either, unless he bought someone else's conservative list.
I stuffed everything but my name into the post paid envelope and sent it back to them.
McCain is probably even worse than hillary, because he's insane. Hillary would be a disaster of epic proportions, but McCain could be a catastrophe if he ever got his finger on the nuclear football. This latest caper doesn't surprise me in the least.
Now, now, McCain may be turning over a new leaf. Perhaps he's going to get his environmentalist whacko friends to take notice of the destruction happening to the habitat of the border areas because it's being INVADED!
Stuff it, McCain.

Well, McVain just sank his presidential campaign . . . . . . AGAIN!!!
Dear Sen. McCain,
Snowball, meet a hot place. There's your presidential campaign, senator.
Have a nice day!
