Ridicule is not enough for the Clinton People, to be Ridiculed you have to have a sense of shame. People who steal, and lie to your face obviously have no shame.

When the episode first became public, in 2004, Mr. Berger was forced to step down as an adviser to Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign. In 2005, he agreed to plead guilty to unauthorized removal of classified documents. He was fined $50,000 but received no jail time.

What was he thinking?

That's pretty obvious.

There were documents that didn't but the Clinton's in a favorable light regarding 9-11. So he destroyed the documents.

"What on Earth was Sandy Berger thinking?"

He was thinking that he needed to get incriminating evidence that the Clintoon administration screwed up out of the archives.

No matter how obvious the motive and evidence the idiots reporting on this refuse to acknowledge that this was a planned calculated risk initiated by Clinton and carried out by Sandy pants.

The surreal story is not about ridicule but about the fact he'll get his security clearance back in two short years just in time to get back on Hitlary's staff.

There's more to this story then Berger and his wrist slap. This guy had a reason for taking these files of which at least a few were destroyed by him, and I'd sure like to know what he was covering up !!!

Why would he ever get his security clearance back?

It speaks volumes that the Democrats tried to blame the whole thing on his being "sloppy". And yet people expect them to protect this country. Ha!

The newly disclosed inspector general's report on the theft of documents from the National Archives fails to answer one key question:

WHAT THE HELL WAS THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT DOING LETTING THIS TRAITOR OFF WITH A SLAP ON THE WRIST?????????????

"What on Earth was he thinking?" I think he knew very well what he was thinking. I think the authorities aren't thinking about what he was thinking, because to do so might uncover some truths that would be politically very embarrassing. I think.

There is nothing thoughtless about stealing classified information and leaving it in a concealed, publicly-accessible drop-off point. I mean, jeez ... just when I get over my '90s paranoia and conspiracy-theorizing, some Clinton stooge steals classified documents relating to a matter of public interest and leaves them in a dead drop. He gets off with a timid, apologetic slap on the wrist. If t his keeps up, I'm going to start seeing the Illuminati and UFOs behind everything the DNC does. Or at least, I dunno, a shadow government controlled by the DNC with operatives treading fearlessly through the halls of power.

I've always respected W, for any number of reasons, primarily for being a straight shooter.

But though I want blood here....I really don't see how anyone can say that justice exists in America under W if his DOJ can ignore this guy while Scooter Libby is fed to the machine.

Selective enforcement is worse than anarchy.

Sure this is an 'isolated case.' But it is so high profile, it screams to be addressed. Sean Hannity's fill-in last night had Lanny-frikkin-Davis on in a happy-go-lucky friendly banter session. At no time did he bring up the fact that Lanny Davis called the Archive Guard a vicious liar when this story broke, and challenged the whistleblower to come forward--that Burglar would never do such a thing.

Lanny Davis was spinning my AM radio so hard I almost drove into a ditch.

"What on Earth was Sandy Berger thinking?"

He was thinking he'd get away with it, and he did.

Berger stole documents because he knows revelations of his activities as Clinton's National Security Adviser would expose him as a complete incompetent..........or worse.

It's chilling to read reports that Berger was a "workaholic" at the NSC----always seen surrounded with top-secret documents---often working late. A study of his
phone records and computer emails would prove interesting.

Lamebrain Berger running our security had precious few "successes" (/sarc):

(1) Berger was on-duty when top-secret US technology was sold to China.

(2) Berger was on-duty when the US bombed the aspirin factory, advising Clinton it was manufacturing deadly chemicals.

(3) Berger was on-duty during Somolia, and Kosovo, and Hatti, and all the other wonderful military success stories of the Clinton administration.

(4) And then there's the infamous Clinton pardons---Mark Rich---the biggest tax cheat in US history, who absconded, then renounced his US citizenship to evade prosecution. Berger did nothing to stop it.

(5) Clinton also pardoned 16 terrorists---members of the FALN---- so Hillary could get Latino votes for her Senate run in NY's large Puerto Rican population. The Armed Forces of National Liberation (FALN) was involved in more than 100 bombings in the United States during the 1970s and 1980s." Berger did nothing to stop it.

(6) And let's not forget the bombing of the Chinese embassy.

(7) Then-Pres Clinton went to Norfolk making a "solemn promise" to the families, friends and shipmates
of the USS Cole to avenge their deaths. But when the opportunity presented itself, he squandered it. Clinton flunky, Sandy---I Don't Take Responsibility for Nuttin'--- Berger, conveniently blamed the misstep on the Pentagon.

As if anyone in the Pentagon would pass up the chance to avenge the sailors of the USS Cole.

A couple of things rarely get noticed:

1. Berger was allowed to call one of Bubba's attorneys by the archive people. And it was prior to the FBI being notified. That means that someone at the FBI got a very special phone call.

The Berger heist was leaked to the press. Berger's attorney was furious saying that "he was cooperating".

I'm inclined to think he INSERTED "Clinton favorable" documents into the archives while removing others. Ah, so nice and neat. No forgery here...just a little robbery and manipulation of top secret memos.

Contrast this slap on the wrist with our two Border Patrol agents who are going to prison for 10 YEARS, because they did their job and shot a drug smuggler in the ass.

We move into the Twilight Zone when our gov't offers the Drug Smuggler immunity to testify against OUR own agents.

Something is wrong with this country...very wrong.

Sandy Burglar as Rush calls him, was probably pulling out documents that would have implicated that the Klintons failed in their terrorist defense of the Republic, and the Klinton legacy must be preserved.

Klinton's next book: "The Meaning of IT!!"

Did eBay get his permission to use IT in those commericals??
