I second that ugh
Yeah... the usual suspects have found the thread. I am just not in the mood to argue. It's pointless.
Congrats, and have a safe trip .. your New Year is going to be fantastic!
Suggestion for your dose, how about Barney and Miss Beazley and Willie/Kittie. There ought to be a lot of pictures available from all the Barney cams. Even though we've seen them before, there are lots of great seasonal pictures [I hope].
That's where I was looking too :) What envoy? LOL
I check people out in the boarding area and when they're boarding and getting seated. After we're strapped in and cruising for takeoff, I'm out within a few minutes. I was the kid who loved to set on the backseat, with my head on my Grandma's lap and sleep all the way home from the beach. I'm an Olympic sleep team member .. LOL.
Aww .. I LOVE it, snugs. Just love that picture ... it speaks volumes. Thank you VERY much. Very special, that one.
Post office workers are well thought of here on the whole. It is always considered a good job to have whether you are at the actual post office or delivering the mail.
The only problem can be if you get a bad apple that gives the others a bad name we had one a few years back that nicked a lot of the mail.
On the whole though the neighbourhood postman or postie as a term of of endearment is a sort of cult figure in Britian.
There is even a TV cartoon based on him and the post office use this as publicity and pictures of it are seen at the post office and sorting offices.

According to my calendar, it's "Hanukkah"--one n, two k's. See what I mean? :)
ROFL! I am not!
I remember once you made a Nelson Muntz reference so I knew the "ha-ha" wouldn't be lost on you :)
LOL ... pick the one you like.
I am fully alert the whole time. I think I have slept a couple of times... but I must have been terribly tired or bored. You are blessed.
I am so glad to hear that the postal workers are more respected there.
Of course my husband has complaints because it is almost impossible for them to fire any worker who is really doing a bad job...or whatever...because of the unions.
But, most of them work very long hours and are nice people...one should really get to know their mail delivery person..because that person knows the neighborhood..and can watch for strangers better than most.
I am so sick of them and of their negativity. I am worried about a second Clinton in the WH, not a third Bush.
PS .. I make the sign of the cross on the plane as I enter .. and say my prayer before takeoff .. LOL
Perfectly said! That would make a great tagline.
Of course! I do the same and always travel with my Rosary.
That's ME .. but I'm sideways .. LOL
