American Muslims making a religious pilgrimage to Mecca are being encouraged to file civil rights complaints if they feel discriminated against by airlines. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), citing what it called the "airport profiling" of six imams removed from a recent flight, yesterday said Muslims traveling this month to the holy site in Saudi Arabia need to be aware of their rights. "Given the increase in the number of complaints CAIR has received alleging airport profiling of American Muslims, we believe it is important that all those taking part in this year's hajj be aware of their legal and civil rights," said Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR spokesman. The group has established a toll-free hot line for victims of "flying while Muslim," as Muslims have begun departing for the weeklong hajj, a once-in-a-lifetime obligation to visit the holy city of Mecca, which this year begins Dec. 29. But M. Zuhdi Jasser, a Phoenix physician and chairman of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD), said the announcement by CAIR "continues the tired stoking of the flames of victimization." "They are unfortunately exploiting, for purely political reasons, what should be a sacred and purely spiritual story of our faith's annual holy pilgrimage to Mecca," Dr. Jasser said.... CAIR is representing the six imams removed from a US Airways flight last month and has asked for a meeting with the airline to seek an out-of-court settlement. ... Debra Burlingame, whose brother was the pilot of American Airlines Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, thinks this is a ploy to extort money from the airlines. A guide issued by CAIR advises Muslims...

Not enough.
Right. So they can ruin them in an open-ended "discrimination" lawsuit?
These are intimidation tactics, pure and simple. Frankly, if they ask for mine, I'll ask for theirs first and then proceed to shove them up their punk @$$es...

Do you remember the six flying Imams at the Minneapolis Airport a few weeks ago? These clowns made a big deal of praying at the gate before boarding. They were heard making anti-American comments by Arabic speaking passengers. They adopted the same seating pattern on the airliner that the 9/11 hijackers used. They asked for seat belt extensions they neither needed nor used. These Muslim Imams did everything they could, including shouting "Allah Akbar," to draw attention to themselves and to make the passengers on that flight uneasy. Finally the Captain of the flight did exactly what he should have done. He had them removed.
I think we could get hours of entertainment out of calling that hotline and making "reports."
Where can I complain about this:
Saudi Arabia - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bibles are illegal. Churches are illegal.
Yemen - Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims and forbids conversions. The Government does not allow the building of new non-Muslim places of worship.
Kuwait - Registration and licensing of religious groups. Members of religions not sanctioned in the Koran may not build places of worship. Prohibits organized religious education for religions other than Islam.
Egypt - Islam is the official state religion and primary source of legislation. Accordingly, religious practices that conflict with Islamic law are prohibited. Muslims may face legal problems if they convert to another faith. Requires non-Muslims to obtain what is now a presidential decree to build a place of worship.
Algeria - The law prohibits public assembly for purposes of practicing a faith other than Islam. Non-Islamic proselytizing is illegal, and the Government restricts the importation of non-Islamic literature for distribution.
Jordan - Has the death penalty for any Muslim selling land to a Jew.
Sudan - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death.
Pakistan - Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims. Christians regularly put in prison for charges of blasphemy. Islam is the state religion, and in a court of law the testimony of a Christian carries less weight than that of a Muslim. Section 295(c) of the Penal Code calls for a death sentence for anyone who defiles the name of the Prophet Muhammad and requires the testimony of four Muslims for a conviction. This fosters an environment in which Muslims can feel free to use intimidation and violence against religious minorities for personal gain.
Qatar - Islamic instruction is compulsory in public schools. The government regulates the publication, importation, and distribution of non-Islamic religious literature. The government continues to prohibit proselytizing of Muslims by non-Muslims.
Malaysia - Under Malaysian law, any convert to Christianity must apply to a shariah (Muslim law) court to legally renounce Islam. Many Christians prefer to remain silent converts rather than take their battle to the shariah courts, where apostasy or conversion out of Islam is punishable by whipping, fines, imprisonment and--in the most extreme application--death.
The Maldives - In the island paradise visited by tens of thousands of tourists each year, Christianity is simply not tolerated. While local Christians said to number around 300 out of a total population of 300,000 do get together to worship, they do so at the risk of imprisonment or worse if discovered by the Muslim authorities. Bibles are banned, and tourists can be arrested for trying to bring them into the country.

And in addition, for your list:
Lying for Allah is okay, according to the eminent Islamic scholar Imam Ghazali, who wrote:
" When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible " (Ref: Ahmad Ibn Naqib al-Misri, The Reliance of the Traveller, translated by Nuh Ha Mim Keller , Amana publications, 1997, section r8.2, page 745).
Imam Ghazali does not say this without knowledge. He is basing his fatwa on the words and examples of the Prophet himself.
In one hadith we read that the prophet calls upon his followers to assassinate Kab ibn Ashraf, the chief of a Jewish tribe who was wary of Muhammad and tells them it is okay to tell a lie to deceive him. Bukhari, Volume 5, #369
The fact is that Muslims feel no pang of conscience to lie if that lie is said for Allahs sake and his religion. If the lie is said for a good cause it is okay.
(...) Muhammad said: "Lying is wrong, *except in three things: the lie of a man to his wife to make her content with him; a lie to an enemy, for **war is deception; or a lie to settle trouble between people" (Ahmad, 6.459. H).
(...) *Islam is the only religion that implies in it's scriptures that it's ever permissible to lie.
(...) **any non Muslim land is considered Dar ul Harb a land of war
And I am calling on all Americans who want to complain about having to remove their shoes and submit to a body search just so these foul-smelling sand-maggots can fly on our planes.
Exactly. Whatever their motivations, this has been a remarkably effective and long-lived stunt. You can bet that CAIR was in on it from the beginning, and had the media/legal campaign figured out before the six mopes ever got to the airport.
Perhaps so, but it is hard to know without asking them. Unfortunately, the only voices we seem to hear from the Muslim community are those such as the execrable CAIR.
I have a colleague who is Muslim. His family fled Iran when the Shah was overthrown. Judging from my conversations with him, he is a loyal American who has no desire to impose Sharia law or murder converts. He likes Christians and dislikes radical Muslims. (He says that his family does not attend the local mosque because of the politics preached there.)
My hope is that there are many more Muslims like my colleague out there, and that they find a voice.
The Shah was an interesting guy. I read one of the reasons the Muslim lunatics there wanted him ousted was an apparent fondness for Zoroastrianism, the state religion of anint Persia, which was actually the first monmotheistic religion.
I know there are non-radical Muslims out there. However, the obvious silence of nearly all them makes me wonder how many are really there, and how really "moderate" at lot of them are.
At any rate, so called "moderate" Muslims do not follow Islam as presente din the Koran and by Mohammad. Islam itself is the problem and unless it si modernized - and I see no movement in that direction - it will continue to be a serious meance and threat to the reast of the world.
Hajj!!I have dibs on all hematopoietic and peripheral stem cells from the trampled bodies!!! LOL! Let's go for a record this year guys! Come-on, trample each other into a blood-paste!
I've got one better. I want to see their passport, visa, proof of citizenship (etc) and request a background check! Two can play that game. Lol
I just did. I was quickly transferred to the "comment" line. Funny thing though, when I first called, a man answered the phone. When he realized I was female, he put me on hold so a female rep could talk with me. Grrrr.
