Does the NYT actaully get this? Holy cow...pigs are flying!
I have all the docs and individual vote counts to post in religion later. Yes, folks, I am an Anglican Moose!

Last year a whole Episcopal church left and joined the Roman Catholic church here in Houston.

I'm surprised they exist in of all places, California.

Religion is the opium of the people when they mainline it.

Mainstream denominations, Christian and Jewish are dying just like the mainstream media.

No, I was told of it by my parish priest.

Isn't there an Anglican pinglist? Do you think they should be pinged?
Good move by the San Joaquinians. It is disturbing when the main English (and Welsh) part of the church is more conservative than the main American part.
Sorry to keep asking these questions, but apparently organizing a webpage is very difficult. If http://www.freerepublic.com/~jedimasterpikachu/ is very disorganized on your screen, can you freepmail?

Basically, mainstream religion is a bunch of social good works programs, rather than focused on God?

My mom goes to one of these Episcopal churches.
My dad calls it "The Church Of Whatever".

We voted with our feet years ago, when the new prayer book was brought in. There are numerous Roman Catholic churches that have adapted services for Episcopalians who still want the traditional services and in Denver we have a few Anglican churches functioning. It's just too few so far.

The Anglican Provence of Christ the King: http://www.anglicanpck.org/about/index.html, is ready to join with all Episcopalians/Anglicans to maintain a traditional Christian Church. APCK has been in existance since 1979. Contact!

Does the NYT actaully get this? The headline isn't accurate, but it IS the Grey Lady after all -- she's been a bit dotty of late...

Thanks to
Kolokotronis for the ping.
Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams.
FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off this moderately high-volume ping list (typically 3-9 pings/day).
This list is pinged by sionnsar, Huber and newheart.
