The Bush Administration has indicated it wants doctors, clinics, and hospitals to provide flu immunizations to illegal immigrants.
In an interview with KFOX-TV, Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt was asked if the federal government has any safeguards to prevent illegal immigrants from catching the flu. Leavitt responded by saying doctors should give flu shots to "every person."..............
Oh, c'mon. We really know those "immunizations" would be to make them sterile. ;)
Actually, it works like this - those that are illegal and paying into social security are using false SS numbers, but numbers nonetheless. So they ARE filing returns, and getting refunds ta-boot, in most circumstances. (I have some "illegal" in-laws, they feel it's their right, nevermind actually getting the frickin papers they need to be here legally in the first place!!!)

Can't you get another type of insurance? I can walk into my doctor's office any time..no appointment needed.
Yep... Although the open enrollment period was just a couple weeks ago and the new insurance doesn't kick in until January 1.

They don't have any misgivings about spreadin TB here in America, do they?
If our citizens and legal immigrants get their flu shots, frankly I don't give a damn if every illegal alien in America comes down with the flu.
Just maybe the sick ones will go back to Mexico for treatment and infect that country also.

For the last three years I have gotten flu shots. For the last three years I have gotten the flu 2 to 3 weeks later. No Thanks, I wont be getting them next year.

This is the link for the Totalization Social Security Agreement with Mexico. Both countries have signed this but it hasn't gone through Congress yet. All a person from Mexico will have to do is prove they were in the country years ago. It won't be hard with counterfeiter's new techniques.

Something tells me you passed up a public school education. Dang, now if the government could only figure out this logic. And I suppose we give'um to them for free, while us taxpayers get charged. Now why stop there. Complete physicals at no charge while they are sending their money (billions) back to Mexico. Leavitt needs a few more of these goodies of selling flu shots as fewer people are getting them because they are virtually ineffective. Soon the drug company will have a plush job for him.
While we are at it I guess we will have to screen them for all the deseases we know that many of them are carrying....then we will have to pay to cure them.
No there is another way, as a matter of fact we used it for years on arriving (legal)immigrants. Quarenteen, and deport the sick ones.
What does that mean?
Screw flu shots, they haven't had any of the other vaccinations either. Should be proof on how much our government really cares. If they don't, then it might be wise that we do. Does anyone really wonder how we are having so much recurrence of basically extinct diseases in this country?
