FReepers, the above is the search engine on the VA website. Find the nearest hospital and give some heroes a little bit of Christmas spirit.
Let's get this organized everywhere. Several years ago, the S.Cal FReepers chartered a bus and visited the Nixon and Reagan libraries. It was a great time. If you can get enough people together, look into chartering a bus and going to a hospital together.
This is just a seed of an idea. I don't know what the hospitals will allow. Please contribute your ideas.
Well, I'm certainly not going to sing for the troops. Those guys have suffered enough.

I can't sing to do much good, but I will bump this thread because there are many good singers and kazoo players on FR I am sure. Bump . . .
I'm in Virginia and would love to do this, as would my husband. Keep me posted.
If you are part of a group, don't worry about your singing voice.
I'm from Maryland, but it would be easier for me to get to DC or NVA than to Baltimore or the Eastern Shore. I'd be happy to do it if we can all agree to get together at some VA hospital.
