ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- An ambitious teenager in Rochester Hills, Mich., is ranked as the 18th amateur in the world to create nuclear fusion -- combining atoms to create energy.
The Detroit Free Press reported that 17-year-old Thiago Olson set up a machine in his parents' garage and has been working exhaustively for more than two years. His machine creates nuclear fusion on a small scale.

Me only BUY from nice man with the beard and funny accent in Denny's parking lot. He has nice toys.
Kinda nervous, though.
Guess he should switch to the de-caf.

Olson's machine consists of a vacuum that sucks air out, and then deuterium -- a form of hydrogen -- is injected into the vacuum. He then charges electricity into the vacuum, causing the atoms in the center to be attracted to one another, creating nuclear fusion. Fusion at low pressure, are there any hydrinos present? (Just my way of saying bullsh|t.)
To: endthematrix
It doesn't look all that difficult to do. It involves the creation of an electrically induced plasma between an inner and outer wire ball electrode in a rarefied deuterium gas. The toughest thing seems to be to get and hold a hard enough vacuum for long enough in the system to purge it from other substances that will interfere with the deuterium plasma.
The fusion yield isn't anywhere close to the break even point, but it can emit some serious radiation.

I am really disappointed. All these comments and not one pic of Doc and Mr. Fusion.

I'm pretty happy with my carb rebuild on my snow thrower! If this guy has a weather machine he can send some snow my way to test it...
