Hotel Chain Blocks CNN

Stoney Creek Hospitality Corp., a Midwest hotel chain, has blocked CNN from the selection of TV channels it provides to guests, claiming that an Oct. 18 report showing Iraqi insurgents shooting U.S. troops was "shocking and repulsive" and "supported terrorism." James Thompson, president of the company, which operates hotels in Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, told the Associated Press that he acted in "a moment of conscience." He said his decision to remove CNN from his hotel guest rooms was permanent.

The OFF switch works fine on most TVs. I rarely turn the TV on when staying in a hotel on a business trip. By the time I've started my work day at 7 AM and returned to the hotel room at 9:30 PM, I'm not real interested in watching the boob tube. I'm obliged to spend 10 minutes doing my time card via my web browser at the end of the day.

Me too I a veteran on OEF and I got literally sick to my stomach when I saw what they aired. I emailed CNN and expressed my anger, they wrote me back some nonsense about how they asked some retired military brass and they said it was okay. Well, I wrote them back and told them that "military members" like that are related to John Kerry and his likes. Obviously, I got no reply again.

Now...while the irons hot...go to your local bookstore, pick up all the Slime and Newsweak subscription cards you find on the floor (litter) and mail them in. Those processing costs are a real bitch for those treasonous publishing companies.
