Background:
A few more House races have yet to be decided. In FL-13, Vern Buchanan has won two recounts, but the democrats are threatening legal action to seat 'their gal'. In the past the RATS have have refused to seat elected Republicans.
Which committiees should the GOP boycott (no quorum, no action) in order force fairness, if the RATS try this again???
The ethics committee at a minimum ...

Its not necessarily the committees that are a problem. Its the stinkin bureaucracies that operate outside the law and constitution.
Get rid of the conservation dept, then the usda, then the dmv, (okay, so I'm mixing state and fed, whatofit), osha, fbi, nasty secret agency, and above the epa, OUTTAHERE!!

Ok, I have a question for some intelligent political people out there, of which I'm not...
If Aclee Hastings is a felon, how did he get elected in the first place? Are you saying that just because your a felon you can be elected to an office of our Government?
You can't vote, you can't carry a fire arm, but you can be elected to hold an office in our Government??? Is this right????

The difference between the Dems and the Repubs that is never pointed out by the press:
The Dems not only do NOT get rid of their crooks and sexual predators..they give money and support to them, ie. Hastings...Stubbs (the first Foley) Marion Barry..the list goes on...yet the party that gets tagged with "culture of corruption" is of course the Republicans

Well, technically he is NOT a felon. I believe the jury trial found him innocent, thus no felony, but Congress impeached him on the strength of the evidence the jury apparently ignored.

It will back fire here in her district if if it done...It already is getting conservatives upset here...They brought in the guy who shut down the military vote in the Gore and Bush race and the ex military guys hit the streets of Sarasota to protest.....We have in our area more kooks than you can imagine...Every week they are out protesting....This may go to the Supreme Court and I think Vern will win....The Dems through every cent they could to let the witch win...Yet she has lost.....

The RATs are bringing in "advisors" from the state of Washington 2004 Gubernatorial "recount the votes until the RAT wins" contingent. "Quick, make up some more ballots, Gregoire is still losing!"

The Republican minority can't shut down any committee or any work going on in the House.
If it were the Senate they could.
But don't worry, they need just turn to the media for help protecting America's democracy...

Correct me if I'm wrong - The Ethics Committee couldn't meet last session because the RATS refused to participate - they couldn't get a quorum. Am I wrong ???

Ah!
Yes, the ethics committee is unique in that it is the only committee evenly divided between the parties.
So it- but only it- could be shut down by the minority party.
My apologies.
