I could save John-o a lot of time, money and wasted effort. HE AIN'T NEVER GONNA GET THE REPUBLICAN NOMINATION!

I've been a drone for the Republican Party for about 10 years. This year I put in a large number of hours trying to get a RINO elected to the US House. He lost in a landslide...to a Farrakhan devotee, no less.

I won't work on behalf of RINOs ever again. It's a waste of time. I'd even be disappointed to accidentally succeed.

McCain is a HUGE part of the problem and NO part of the solution. If he gets the nod he will lose me, and I'd bet the farm he will lose my state as well. There is a large contingent of conservatives in my state, and they will simply stay home rather than support another RINO, especially one running for President.

His site doesn't have any place for "feedback".

Interesting. I love to give him some.

Maybe if I agree to doante $.02 he'll get the point.

That didn't help Steele in MD, Swann in PA, or the other man in Ohio. Deval Patrick did get elected though (MA is a case all its own). I disagree, I think it helped Steele (although he ran a great campaign on its own merit), but the voters in blue states were not sympathetic to Republicans. He would have won in 2004. More generally, being black is good for a percentage point or three. But it will not win you races if you are a lousy candidate, and it may not be enough even if you are a good candidate. But it is still a help.

Not to mention he spent most of the summer worrying over the rights of detainees at Gitmo and others captured on the battlefield. The man is dangerous to conservatism, the GOP, and the nation.

Obama won't get the nomination.
For the same reason Jesse Jackson and Doug Wilder never did- bigoted Democrat voters.
He's just for show, like they were.

I won't vote for McCain for the same reasons I won't vote for Guiliani, Romeny, Clinton, or Obama...

I will not vote for a bigger government, socialist agenda, liberal... Regardless of party affiliation.

McCain will switch party names if he doesn't get the bid.
It will party name only, Hillery will attest to that. He will be her running mate possible.

...I am predicting some of the newly elected Democrats to change parties within a year. This is about the amount of time the Democrats will crew things up so bad for themselves.

Seriuosly, McCain is the candidate of MSM newsrooms. If he were to come up against Hillary though they would turn on him in a minute and destroy him! I wouldn't even call him a RINO - his party is the John McCain Party - he is by no means a consrvative. Yet the MSM touts him that way. Of course they wouldn't know a conservative if one bit them on arse. To the MSM, a conservative is Pat Buchanan - anti-semitic isolationist who does happen to be right about controlling illegal immigration - or Andrew Sullivan - rumpranger who went along with the war initially but who now filters all his views through his homosexuality and who is pissed he can't marry his boyfriend.

And if the media were the only voters he'd win in a landslide. Alas, we all get to vote. I predict his presidential bid will last just a tad longer than Pete Wilson's did.

Two Rinos running, and then there is Newt, the only conservative in the race, thus far.

Now let me see, which one of the three will I vote for?
