This is a terrible case of duct tape misappropriation. We're gonna need all the duct tape we can find for the big retreat out of Iraq next year.

In the extremely unlikely event that my 18 yo daughter ended up in the military (she spent most of her time with her oh so lib-uh-rhul mother, and is now going to UC Santa Cruz), she would insist on being treated 'just like the boys'. Well...that is your own prob. Many of us have women who serve.

30 years...U.S. Army Special Forces...Never served with women...The only women in my life have been my mother, my sisters, my wife and my daughter...Can't imagine a man treating a woman the way the men in the video did...I guess we just live in different worlds...I won't change mine...And I don't give a good God damn what you do in yours.

I don't see it as a problem. I wonder why you do? Oh, give me a break! You wouldn't see Colin Powell duct-taped to a pole! I want you to see your patriotic daugters treated this way, and explain why that is right!

For the love of God, please get off of your soapbox of outrage. I saw, and took part in, duct taping a full bird colonel to a post on the night before he was to leave Afghanistan and head back to Germany. Like I said earlier, he had no problem with it and was laughing about it with the rest of us.
You really are being ridiculous. The patriotic daughters you keep mentioning are adults who don't need their parents protecting them from friendly horseplay among soldiers. My God, give it a rest.
And again, why is it that you are so outraged about this when the woman in the video is LAUGHING about it?

Lol, oh, c'mon... That's not inappropriate. When I first read the title, I was expecting something like this:
It's not inappropriate unless there's lots of skin and lots of danger! This girl was having fun.

Well, according to one or two people here this is a heinous act that must be met with some kind of punishment.
Apparently some people don't think that a bit of friendly rough housing should be forbidden amongst SOLDIERS IN A WARZONE.

Because
It promotes unit cohesiveness.
It honors her as a full fledged fellow soldier, not a mere regimental ornament.
It's not one sided, she will be, and in all probability has been, on the roll end of the tape.
Her fellow troops recognize her as a full fledged member of the unit, or they wouldn't dare do it to her.
As an aside, I'd be willing to put money on Colin Powell having had this or similar practical jokes played on him during his career.
