So this gives the really rich people time to hide their money in tax free shelters
Shall we corner the vaseline market?
Yep, the terrorists will concentrate on destroying Israel and Lebanon first (and the UN will look the other way), then it'll be our turn.
Last year in VA, it took Gov. Elect Cain about 10 minutes after he was sworn in to go back on a "no tax" position and lobby for higher taxes for NOVA road projects.
I hope all the stupid people who voted them in enjoy the results.
Well, there's ONE bright spot in all of this:
"...FAILED presidential candidate John Kerry."
You know, I NEVER tire of reading that, LOL!
As for me and my house, we are experts at taking every deduction available to us by law. We know how much we need to earn each year to stay afloat, and then we stop earning taxable dollars, because after a certain dollar amount, it's not worth earning any more for the year.
Please, Freepers! Do all you can to know what your bottom line is, and do all you can to stash away tax-free money in your retirement accounts. The only way we can stop the Big Government Beast is to cut off it's blood supply, which is, in reality, OUR hard earned money!
*Steps Off Soap Box* :)
Then the lying MSM will somehow pin the tax hikes on the Bush Administration and the sheeple will buy it hook, line and sinker.
Tell me about it.
Only in a Congresscritter's vocabulary does a "tax cut" mean increase in baseline spending.
Israel must take care of Iran before Piglosi and the Klintoon/Kennedy/Kerry's take over congress with a massive knockout of the Iranian leadership and nuclear program.
If they wait, they will be committing suicide.
Now there will never be a free Lebanon.
It will continue to be proxy hand puppet for Syria and Iran, and their control via their various thugs like Hamas and the Hezies will be the dominate control.
No it doesn't, what the poster said is true.
When Democrats talk about "the rich," they're not talking about their millionaire friends in Hollywood and Upper West Manhattan. They're talking abotu ordinary folks working for a living. The super rich are liberal elitist snobs who do put their money in tax shelters while the middle and working class folks get hit hardest.
Stupid liberal voters gave the key to the vaults to the bank robbers.
That and the KY Jelly market with a lot of antidepressants.
I mind it very much! My FIT was $70,000 in 2000. CA SIT was $19500 that year. My income taxes exceeded the balance on my home mortgage. The only refuge I have from this outrageous confiscation is to divert as much as possible to pre-tax retirement funds and hope that my rates will be lower when I am forced to start removing it at 59 1/2.
If he doesn't veto them, he deserves the blame. If the Republicans in the senate don't filibuster, same thing for them.
"Last year in VA, it took Gov. Elect Cain about 10 minutes after he was sworn in to go back on a "no tax" position and lobby for higher taxes for NOVA road projects."
Before they run for any election. They polish the lies, scare Rinos/Cut and runners from voting and have these laws ready to enact.
Sorry I forgot the sarcasm tag.
My friend, you are the exception and are rich.
The taxes are the same until 2010. Why worry about what they do now? So what if they don't extend the tax cuts now. Do it after 2008. Am I missing something?
And this has to do with taxes how????? Please stay on topic.
