Last year in VA, it took Gov. Elect Cain about 10 minutes after he was sworn in to go back on a "no tax" position and lobby for higher taxes for NOVA road projects.

Before they run for any election. They polish the lies, scare Rinos/Cut and runners from voting and have these laws ready to enact.

I'm waiting for the same thing to happen here in newly-blue New Hampshire. The Dem gov was elected for a second term, and the first thing he says in his victory speech is that he's going to raise the mandatory school attendance age to 18! There's no way he can keep his "no taxes pledge" and still be able to fund the additional classrooms and teachers that idea will require.

And that was only the first item in his laundry list of give-aways...

The question of the night is: how much of the extra tax money was actually spent on roads here in Northern Virginia?

(I am willing to bet on...zero.)
