Is al Qaeda a terrorist group? What are they doing in Iraq. I thought Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror.

Democrats should respond with a rousing cry in support of Iraqi democracy and a denunciation of terrorism carried out by Islamic fascists.

Iraq Hopes Vote Means More Security

From the link:

"The vote shows the Iraqi and American people are of one mind about withdrawing U.S. troops," said Falah Hassan Shanshal, who leads the parliamentary bloc of radical anti-American Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

"We hope the Democrats don't forget their campaign promises. If they don't, we will deal with them in a brotherly way once the last American Soldier pulls out from Iraq," he said.

Well that didn't take long. Have they given terms for our surrender yet?

No question but this has shown Americas unwillingness to fight the tough battles. In the next 25-35 years America will be no more than the Soviet Union. This will lead to our demise and it may even be sooner. America can no longer be trusted and foreign countries now realize it.

OBL knew America's leftwing Vietnam press was still in charge of this country.

He knew Americans would surrender.

Just as we should have gotten Saddam the first time around, we should have gotten al-Sadr before stopping the offensive.

"No question but this has shown Americas unwillingness to fight the tough battles."

This is true. Pretty much every rogue country out there know they do as they wish, and if we threaten war it doesn't matter. They now know that as a country we will turn back and run home as soon as we begin to take casualties. All they have to do is last long enough to kill a couple thousand or so soldiers. :(

Taking out Zarqawi was a feel good thing. But, it changed nothing on the ground in Western Iraq because we didn't put in large numbers of troops to Anbar to finally deal with al-Qaeda in Iraq.

With Zarqawi's death we also lost the number one political tool to convince the US public we are fighting terrorists in Iraq. After Zarqawi died the US public with help from the DNC and the MSM became convinced it is a civil war in Iraq and we have no reason to be there.
