"No question but this has shown Americas unwillingness to fight the tough battles."

This is true. Pretty much every rogue country out there know they do as they wish, and if we threaten war it doesn't matter. They now know that as a country we will turn back and run home as soon as we begin to take casualties. All they have to do is last long enough to kill a couple thousand or so soldiers. :(

Well, that was the conventional wisdom on the USA before the Afghanistan invasion. Bush scared them for a few years, but now we are right back to where we stood in the late 90's.

"couple thousand or so soldiers" -
and the Lamestream Media will gleefully, shrilly and triumphantly trumpet each and every death with gusto, influencing the election of "cut and run" politicians, and then pat themselves on the back for bringing peace . . only in this case, the scriptural reference to simply saying peace and safety, peace and safety and then cometh sudden destruction will probably be a very good description of what could happen. - The media was especially vitriolic and unrelentingly vicious this go around.

Let's just nuke everybody on the planet, we got enough of 'em to at least give every country one explosion, allies excluded.
