Thank you! I worked in radio just long enough to be dangerous, and it was bugging me like crazy that I couldn't remember what "JIP" meant!!
MI traded in RINO Joe Schwarz for conservative Tim Walberg. One bright note in this very blue state.
LOL!
no- have issues with people attacking the base.....
I don't get it....I really don't get it...
This is what we have all been so worried about... the Dems in power..... and now it is here.....but rather than be honest about why...we attack the base....
America does not want the Libs agenda.....they want the conservative agenda......
sorry-- I think it is out of line to attack the people who have literally worked hard for the GOP and given them so much time and money.....
that is so wrong...... so wrong......
it is like working3 jobs to put your husband through school, then when he gets that high paying job- he tells you how stupid you are.......
This is certainly true in districts that are already infested with huge number of alien invaders that have now got citizenship and voting rights. Look at the South Texas counties which includes Brownsville, McAllen, Harlingen, etc. According the latest census data these counties average 80% hispanic population, many, if not most, alien invaders over the last 20 years. Except for the anglo landowners who are being overrun, there is no real opposition to the continued invasion from Mexico. These counties also vote 75% to 80% for the most leftist candidates that the democrats can put up.
LOL!
wow---- you need a new couch....
I have no pity for myself....none--
I LOVE being single.....I don't even date Dane.....
keep your day job......
Not to mention the English/language, anti-illegal initiatives that passed in border states.
Rush: "I'm no longer going to stick my neck out to defend people who won't defend themselves."
And I'm getting fed up with Rush too. Now the big man feels 'liberated.' Gee, I wonder what was preventing his liberation? As usual Rush is turning his show into 3 hours of "All About Me." The first hour of his program is all talk - All about his liberation, his confidence, his pep talks, etc. He can already feel his Q-ratings soaring now that he has his comfy enemy back.
I remember a speech Rush was making to the Republican House legislators, and he called wifey No. 10 up on the stage with him and just left her there standing and standing and standing without even bringing her to the mic, and he just kept blathering away. I knew then this guy had an ego and empathy problem.
I've also heard more non-sensical rambling from Rush today than at a typical Bush press conference. Conservatives did NOT win today. Nor do I think our soldiers believe conservatism or America won today.
To use a WFB tautology;
1) America lost today
2) Rush, "Conservatism won today."
Ergo: Conservatism is Losing
My sympathies and prayers are with President Bush. No president since Lincoln has borne so much hatred yet worked so hard to keep this country safe.
Those counties in south Texas have been voting Rat for the past 75 years.
So true. I don't either. That to me is the saddest part of this. No matter what happens, it's President Bush. The media started that campaign a long time ago. Say it enough it sticks. It's sad because many have bought it. They don't even realize where that tactic originated. Even when a hurricane comes, it's his fault. When President Bush does a speech, people critique how he looked but yet didn't hear the words he had spoken. It's all too unbelievable.
Within the next 24-48 hours, look for Rush to apologize for or at least modify SOME of his rant today, excusing it as his frustration, disappointment, and rage.
WHOA!
hold on-- I am not talking about Bush...
I am talking about COngress......
My only problem with Bush was when he weakened his message about Iraq....but he heard from us on that-- and turned around in less than a week.....
Bush's only place where he is week to his base is hte border....but even with that-- it makes no sense that the HOUSE Republicans were the ones strongest on this issue....and hey- they lost too.......
Please don't think I am bashing Bush...
My problem today is watching people Bash conservatives and blame them for the loss.... I am just defending the people who have worked so hard for this party......
LOL!!
You know my husband? He did that to you too?
LOL
I agree, but it will never happen.
which one is it?
Is Laura a contry club Republican?
Or is she at fault for bashing Republicans?
I could care less about the other guys-- but you have accused Laura of both of these....Laura is a conservative...and she is true to it.....
although- I have to admit that I hate how nice she is with some of the Libs....BLECK!
LOL!
okay.....
I think you are right...
but that doesn't mean I shouldn't defend the people who have worked so hard for the GOP......
For those who are wanting to point some fingers today, you might do your homework a little.
Three key House races were in Indiana. All 3 incumbents were not long termers, and they had won seats in what have been historically Democratic seats. Why do you think the Dems targeted those races? It's because they knew that they had a chance to actually win back what had been theirs for a long, long time. It wasn't the conservatives, it was the moderate Democrat that they went out and got to change their vote this time around. At least in these districts. So quit blaming the conservatives. The Sodrel-Hill race was neck and neck all 3 times.
I thought you two might enjoy this:
In the year 1778, Thomas Paine warned Americans about false patriots who wave the flag on sunny days, but fail to uphold liberty during dark times...
"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph."
