Eeevil, when did he kick his base in the teeth? We all knew who and what we voted for when we put him in office. That applies to the border also!
It wasn't elitists that just put the dems in power and have cost us so much.
Let me guess, Morris on Hannity.
there it is.
Politician, the only four letter word spelled with ten letters!
Me neither. Are there a lot of immigrants in his border county?
I'm with you, Carolinamom. In light of everything I thought he did well today. I sure wouldn't have wanted to face those sharks after yesterday, but he did, and he even let them ask him tough questions and he answered back with us usual wit and conviction. I'm sad to see others turn against him simply because of the loss last night.
The tone on FR and on Rush about Bush would've been completely different today had the Republicans kept the House and Senate. Bush didn't change overnight, so all I can conclude is that people who turn against him when disappointed about the election are Fair Weather FRiends. I expected better of both Rush and Freepers.
Tolerating DUmocrats in power is absolutely DETESTABLE. The names at the top of the elitist group....Ingraham and Hannity, George Will, Kristol and the other country club Republicans.
Who lost credebility?
sorry
I am just sick of people blaming the ase that actually got out there and manned the phones- and worked so hard to get the GOP in power.......
these people were Republicans before Newt ever came along.......they have worked to the bone.....and they have been DUMPED on by people who turned Republican when it was popular, got elected.... went to DC...and then came back to spit on them and laugh at them......
I HATE this outcome... I am truly scared for my children's future...and my brother in the Air Force...
But dang-- I cannot believe people are blaming the base and calling them names......
Exactly what I'm afraid of.
ROFLLL!!
poli-tic = many blood sucking insects.
Oh! Gee, I learn something every day here. Thanks, Clint.
I'm blaming the IVORY TOWER country club blue-bloods.
I think Rush just like a lot of Republicans in congress went into "protect the lead" mode. Playing not to lose rather than playing for victory, well the prevent defense didn't work, and now's the time to go on offense.
Yes and NO.
We need to get good marketable and likable conservative candidates out for primaries, but if we don't get it all we can't be asses voting third parties or in other ways that benefits Democrats to power.
To thine own self be true fails if it sabotages elections to give Democrats power, so I think you principle is good, but you have to take elections and consequences into account with that statement.
Making a statement when voting that gets Democrats elected mostly only shows the stupidity of that voter IMO. :-)
I agree! The high road helped lead to this defeat. Our leaders let the MSM and the Democrats define our President, this war, and our party in some of the most vile language ever used in politics and our response was paltry. It's like our leaders expected the people to just see right through it, but when the message is repeated over and over, it's going to be absorbed by a significant enough percentage of our population.
Amen.
I think you basically have to give everyone a 48 hour pass on what they are saying.
Cooler heads will prevail, but right now most people are just venting and blaming anything and everything.
We've set another record for the number of posts during a Rush show, I believe. I couldn't read fast enough to keep up!
