This may have alot to do with bible prophecy, remember when God destroyed cities in Biblical times it was after they had become so corrupted and so out of control, maybe this is setting up "end times"--just look at how the country's morals and values have declined over the years and it gets worse and worse as time goes on...eventually God will separate the wheat from the chaff. (CHAFFee? LOL) A good majority of the dems are heading straight towards being chaff.

The point is that Bush's "new tone" has been a royal flop. The Dems will never "work with" any Republican, and trying to make nicey-nice with them is a stupid waste of time.
There are a lot of old timer freepers who tend to look their noses down on us "regular folks". Their political views are so much superior to ours donchaknow.
Don't feel bad it has happened to all of us at one time or another. :)

Never having been able to elect a candidate on their own, they want to take over this party and run it into the ground; the last time we saw this many of them, they were in a hotel room fighting over Pat Buchanan's Reform Party platform (I bet HE'S a happy man today; he had a lot to do with this defeat!).
They have surfaced to claim their "victory," too dumb to realize what they have produced.
My guess is Pres Bush/the administration.
You've summed it up perfectly. I have a brother like your grandfather and I thank God every day for his calm temperament and ability to get things done in the face of unlimited obstacles. That is the difference between a "diplomat" and a "politician". And the GOP mouthpieces need to learn how to polish their skills before we lose again. Let the other side (and many of our own) rant. And rise above them.
Because certain people here think the first thing the Democrats are going to do is bring back the fairness doctrine.
Some of what Rush says is right on...but it's REAL EASY to do Monday Morning quarterbacking when you don't control the passing game...

Rush added insult to injury with his performance and imitating of MJF. It was disgraceful and had a very negative effect, nationwide, on this election. Many, many conservatives and independents thought it was horrible and it really turned them off.

Fine. I disagree. I was talking about Rush's opinion on how the President handled the press not policies...and how Rush doesn't personally..in person handle the press. Nothing more..nothing less.
