President Bush does not want to know what I am thinking about him and his strategery right now.

I think they were right in the beginning - too much of his father involved. How does it feel to have finally p*ssed away the Reagan Revolution?

As I said on an earlier post the electorate will flee from those who are divided these people made the Republicans seem divided so undecided people went for the party and supporters who seemed united.

Yep that certainly confuses me as well.

Teach them a lesson is stupid, childish and again confirms disunity in the Republican camp which the undecided electorate are nervous of.

"If the Dems had their way they would impeach the whole White House, their cabinets and everyone down the line."

Look around this thread...the infection is nearer than you think.

We had record breakout but they voted third party or some even crossed party lines.

...I fear you are right it will be a sad day if Rumsfeld has to pay the price for the inadequacies of Republicans in Congress and more than anything a disgraceful lying media....

Maybe not. Maybe he wont be out of the picture... I like and admire Rumsfeld tremendously because I fear men like him is a dying breed... solid as granite in a world of "metrosexuals, bisexuals, homsexulas...and girly men etc"

But when I star hearing pratically EVERYONE saying that Bush should have removed him, etc, etc.... You begin to wonder if now is that time. We simply can not ignore what happened last night. The Rats won...BIG... the numbers don't lie... and as much as hate it.. that is the NEW REALITY WE CAN NOT IGNORE!

The American people, in their hearts, want to win in Iraq, and that means really pouring it on. Way more troops, way more aggressive rules of engagement. My perception is that Bush, like his father, is too afraid of pissing people off, not realizing that he will piss off CNN and the French no matter what he does, because he has an R next to his name. Consequently, he has not fought in Iraq as aggressively as he should. If he wants to save '08, he is going to have to really get aggressive in Iraq. I think he started realizing that towards the end of this cycle, but it was too little too late.

Yup...and just about every general and flag officer agrees with you as do conservative patriotic common sensers such as Barnes, Kristol, Buchanan, McCain, Warner, Graham, Dole and EVEN a handful of Dems...but Kristol and Buchanan are labeled as toadies, McCain is an ogre, Graham a fairy, Dole (and wife) an ED problem, and Warner a RINO in the opinion of most here (of course, all the Dems are just RATS regardless of their conservatism).

Sometimes you have to defend yourself.

I'm with you. You can't turn the other cheek EVERY time.

I agree with what you said. And I'd like to add that Bush lost because he took a wimpy approach to the war. We should have GONE TO WAR with the terrorists.

"He should have cleaned house of all the Clintonites the day he took office instead he invites Teddy over for popcorn and like his father he learned NOTHING as he went along."

Amen to that! Someone else who is culpable...Rush Limbaugh. Rush gave him a pass on the border, spending and soft approach to media and Dims.

I agree. Why turn on the president because he is not perfect, when he is the only bright spot we have left? It's funny the democrats support their own no matter how slimey they are but some republicans tend to eat their own. Remember, the libs are watching us closely to see how we react to this. We should learn from this and move forward. It's a shame we have to turn on President Bush who is far from perfect but at least he stands for what he belives in and if he is concillatory and has learned something from this as well, than good for him.
