WTF? McCaskill is giving a "victory" speech and the race isn't even called yet! Disgusting...

OMG -- just checked my local returns and we might lose OH-2 (Jean Schmidt) -- that's Rob Portman's old seat and one of the safest Republican seats in Ohio.

How about "When we vote, we win"

Look at the red state map. Tonight didn't happen because people voted, it happened because people didn't vote.

CBS just called MO for McCaskill or whatever her name is. Take it for what it's worth.

There are VERY few votes left to count in Kansas City and St. Louis proper. Most of the remaining votes are in SUBURBAN St. Louis COUNTY, SUBURBAN Kansas City and the area near Joplin.

Who even remembers what Goldwater stood for? Certainly not the "true conservatives" (including RR), who have pushed for big government when it served their agenda, not the Party's.

And in an earlier post in this thread, you were trashing Christians.

But then, look at this post from Oct.21:

"The Left's efforts to undermine voter confidence has just not worked, as noted. The coming elections will once again substantiate what big trouble they are in"

So are you just doing the "picking stocks by throwing darts" approach to prognostication, or what?

"Missourians have rejected the politics of personal attack" on TV now. So they voted down Rush Limbaugh. Does this mean that if Rush didn't have a webcam running, Talent would have won? Stem cell would have gone down?

Shep said she just went to the podium to accept but that MO's results weren't in yet

"Why would an informed conservative NOT vote for Blackwell?"

Ties to the Taft administration. Lots of Conservatives around here were embarassed by that mess. They don't take kindly to being made a fool of. Hey I talked till I was blue in the face but to no avail, they want no more Taft's and Nays! (yes I spelled it that way on purpose!)

And they sent their message in a clear tone.

Don't send us Criminals!

Some polls in your state will remain open for another 4 hours according to Shep. Voting problems..... Indian Reservations?

McCaskill is apparently calling herself the winner in MO. She's give her "victory" speech LIVE on CSPAN now!

Virtually all the liberals blame the "Republican Controlled Congress" for everything.

Let's see them tell everybody that they've been lying for ten plus years.

Don't trust a thing McCain says.. he will say what he thinks we want to hear for the next 24 months.

This is true, of course. When McCain "was" a conservative congressmen from Mesa (20+ yrs ago), he learned and practiced the conservative message perfectly. That was then. This is now.

My state rep was an incumbent Republican who lost - and our district usually votes in the 80-90% Pubbie column.

Evidently, we were "targeted" by the Dems ... ummm, I better not go any further. We have a large Jewish community.

He [Tony Snow] has already been quoted as saying that with the new Dem house, maybe we can get a comprehensive immigration bill.

Ergo, it will happen sooner rather than later. The House will vote on, and pass, the disastrous S.B. 2611 (Kennedy/McCain) that has been set aside until after the election. HR4437 is dead. The pro-illegals marchers have won big-time.
