Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
You're probably looking in the wrong spot...182 of 186 precincts have come in for Kansas City.
Steele's getting clobbered. NO way he gets close
Yes, something isn't making sense. Jackson County is greater KC
I know a lot of people that voted for Perot, and later said they regreted it. This election was not a good thing for us, but I don't think it's a good idea to start wailing. Fiscal conservatives need social conservatives, and we both need some moderates. From what I'm seeing, they're saying the Rats need 3 to control the Senate. I think they have them with VA, Missouri and Montana.
We'll dust ourselves off, pick up the pieces, and move forward. To tell the truth, whenever you see Democrats campaigning hard in NY, it's a bad night for the Rats, and when you see Republicans campaigning hard in Texas, it's a bad night for the Republicans.
Saddle up boys and girls. The world begins again tomorrow.
Anybody know the result of the SD abortion ban initiative? I've heard it failed.
Listening to the local radio election coverage. I get local channels on my satellite dish, but they're Bismarck, ND, which sucks.
Sorry, but you can't undercount the effect ofthe MSM I think the study was like 80% negative stories negative about republicans, heck the Wash Post went on a jihad against Allen. It effects the national dialogue and takes republicans off message. how many people today voted for dems because they thought they would win.
It's not official yet, but FNC is practically calling it for McCaskill and for Tester (D) in Montana. And I'm not very confident about an Allen vs Webb recount putting that one in the R column. CNN said absentee ballots from Fairfax County haven't been counted yet, and Fairfax Co. is a RAT stronghold. I think we have lost the Senate...
Rintense, I agree with you... the MSM won big time tonight. And they will be emboldened now and become even more insufferable...
KC just came in. No suprises there
There are still two House races in GA- Districts 8 and 12 where we have chances to pickup. One of them we lead by about 1000 votes with 90% in, the other we trail by the same margin... At least if we get one or both of these we didn't get skunked.
It made me sick the first time I saw it; you wouldn't believe how many people said "Don't use fearmongering to try to scare us into voting for the GOP" when I would post it.
This is significant. Republicans are not loyal.
We and the Republicans should have supported Bush's social security reform. We had the votes.
The Mier nomination was the same way. Bush was not supported.
It is fairly ridiculous to observe how regularly freepers and others attack Bush while we observe perfect loyal obedience on the other side to the most idiotic positions on the left.
Republicans and paleo conservatives attack President Bush and drove down his numbers right along with the democrats. There is not doubt about it.
*shakes head* There's being being generous and then there's being downright unfathomable. When they had the pie, Republicans should have divided the pieces themselves!
So do I, hon...so do I. Weldon doesn't have anything to lose now.
Precisely. Bush just stood there waiting. He thought it would be Congress doing the work instead of making proposals that could be debated.
And without leadership no one would step up even with 60-65% of the voters wanting to control more of their money.
If conservatives won't fight for their ideas then forget it. Already tonight we are seeing the return of the ridiculous concept of "moderates" even though the Dems are far, far, far to the left.
Geez, they are going to start talking about amending the Constitution for Arnold again since he won and the "moderate" template will prevail.
The war on terror is over and the focus will shift back to the crap during the Bush 41 campaign: minimum wage, cable bills, Americans with Disabilities, etc.
Mush issues.
I keep saying that except for Ronnie Reagan, who jumped over the elites with his messagew to the people, all the rest of these pukes that became president are nothing more than puppets to the NWO, CFR, Trilateralist, etc. Many here, including myself knew GW was to be president at least 2 yrs before the election. The Hildabeast is next in line. Guaranteed by me that there would not be a true conseravtive Supreme Court when GW left. Who knows how fixed these votes were & we have NO idea one way or the other. In any event we have an oligarchy. The meaningless voting in two corrupt political parties totally controlled by the elites just makes you feel better that you might have played a role in the results. 80% want the borders secured. Good luck with your voting for it. A republican administration pulling for Leiberman to win is beyond words.
It's a good speech. Not that he ever had much of a fight.
On the MO Sec of State page I go by Jackson County - KC is included - KC is not a county. I don't know why they put that in.
