This is significant. Republicans are not loyal.

We and the Republicans should have supported Bush's social security reform. We had the votes.

The Mier nomination was the same way. Bush was not supported.

It is fairly ridiculous to observe how regularly freepers and others attack Bush while we observe perfect loyal obedience on the other side to the most idiotic positions on the left.

Republicans and paleo conservatives attack President Bush and drove down his numbers right along with the democrats. There is not doubt about it.

Heck, the Alito appointment should have been enough to bring every social conservative to the polls.

Yup, and we conservatives saved Bush's butt on that one. Can anyone imagine a weaker candidate than Miers now?
