Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
That's true, but most of all, it was the media. There are a lot of people out there who voted D today because of what the MSM "reported." They're patriotic, but they don't realize they've been had. They completely believe everything the anchor tells them.
Hopefully this sequel doesn't suck. Actually, T2 was better than T1, IMHO.
The president will not be impeached if we lose both houses but our judges are gone.
The only silver lining is that the business cycle is cresting, we may have a recession in 2007-08, and we can blame the RATS.
I heard that there are over 200,000 outstanding early and absentee ballots left to count in MD.
Talent should pick up votes in all those counties, but Clay. Maries and Pemiscott could be iffy.
Jasper County is the key.

The good thing is that in 2008, the middle will be sick of those pansy dems in congress and put repubs back in as well as Rudy or McCain (not that im huge fans of either...but ill take anything over Hillary im afraid).
***And I'm sure the Dems will "power share" with the GOP like we did with them!!
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL****
Right... and the Tooth Fairy is going to leave a quarter under my pillow tonight. ;)
They'll have a 51-49 working majority thanks to Sanders and Lieberman. That will be Joe's thanks to the Republicans for getting him re-elected.
No I am not hoping for it read the entire post again, I think it is the logical culimnation of the events that will unfold when we pull out of Iraq. Payoff referred to the Dems being paid off for their "cut and run" policy.
I believe the dems think if we leave, the Terrorists will leave us alone. Which is not gonna happen.
Well, if those other GOP winners hold in CA....it is something to be thankful for this night.
That really makes me ill.
Someone on the GOP fringe.
But since you are apparently one of them, I guess that tonight's losses make YOU extremely happy. ENJOY IT.....now everyone else here is as miserable as you always are.
Per ABC:
MO: Talent trailing McCaskill... 49/48 ... 80% reporting.... Have not counted KC yet!
MT: Burns trails Tester... 14% counted.
VA: 99% counted; Allen behind 2,000 votes.
Unless it's changed, isn't KC in Jackson County?
I really hope not. I just pray we are not setting up for a repeat of the Viet Nam withdrawal.
Corker's lead slipped with Shelby Co. in, but he's still ahead by 4.3%, about 7k votes, and none of Davidson (Nashville), Greene or Knox counties are in yet. It's looking like we'll keep TN.
Steele ahead by 75k votes in MD, 59.2%. Baltimore, Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties not in yet.
Yep, there's been quite a few of them. Hope they're happy now. There isn't even a prayer of getting another USSC justice past this new senate. HA! And they thought Harriet Meirs was bad.
And, I do not believe that jettisoning principles of the protection of our borders, fiscal responsibility, of a worldview besides secularism, and of justice aka protection of innocent life is the answer for '08.
A reliable vote for cloture is all we could expect. Not every state is as conservative as Georgia. We've had a very depressing night here in Ohio. Oh well, at least we had 2004.
Time to line up behind Rudy. He's the only one who can beat McCain for the nomination and Clinton for the Presidency. Bad as tonight was ... how awful would it be two years from now if the crusty pantsuit gets 270+ EVs?
