Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Yup. We have lost an important battle tonight, but not the war.
We must continue to be outspoken in our support of our troops and challenge, challenge the Democrats to maintain all the economic progress we have made in six years.
If the Democrats fail to maintain (which they will) we MUST be uniform in our response.
Oh wow. Fat head slanderer of decent men and women in uniform beats decent person. Goodie.
Does he look like he has high blood pressure?
Thanks for the clarification. I was just calling out those here on FR who chose to not vote, or vote for the other guy to teach Republicans a lesson. There are quite a few of them here.
control of a house of congress.
Get ready to hold your nose and vote for McCain if this is the current trend.
He is going to be the only one with a REAL shot at the WH. Some may hate to admit it but if they choose to sit it out again they can look forward to feeling n this way x100 when Hitlery is celebrating her victory in '08.
Since such extreme libs seem to be accepted, she can really be who she is which is more frightening than her current facade.
Quote: "Ronald Reagan would not have presided over this debacle. "
Uhh, no offense, but he presided over one worse than this, much worse. He lost the Senate and greatly increased the Democrat majority in the House.
Corker will win.
I guess it all gets down to Missouri now.

many of us did - and there is no way to stop it now, the republican House was the only thing standing in the way.
and if it does pass, it will never be repealed. never. once those guest workers start pouring in, and US businesses start hiring them, we will never be able to repatriate them.
We're too honorable to get down in the mud and dirty ourselves. And hey, my own historically 90+% Pubbie district just lost our (R), too.
ASU is in Hayworth's-R (Dist5 AZ) district. Mitchell used to be the Mayor of Tempe.

Allen (Incumbent) 1,138,676 49%

DeWine
Uh, no, that's incorrect. Try again.
No they aren't. Arizona is flaming California. Even a great GOP giant like Hayworth can't win here. But Fox just said Bush welcomes the possibility of comprehensive reform now that the house is Democrat.
Why don't we just dissolve the freaking border.
bloviate much?
A very big blow to the pro life movement... very sad. I admit I knew nothing about Melissa Hart until I sat next to her at a CPAC banquet two years ago. Very nice, intelligent woman and (as you know) very pro life. Big loss for us in the House...
Ohio, Connecticut and Rhode Island aren't border states. The poster said Conservatives were losing in border states. Border states are those close to the South but not in the deep South. You're correct about who lost and that they aren't Conservative.
