Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Allen's going down... math predicts him losing by 6,000 votes. It goes to recount and absentees are thrown in handing the state to ALLEN.
Although our TROOPS will continue their heroic work for us, this ELECTION is a SLAP in their collective faces.
Starting tomorrow there will be an incessant cry from the MSM that this election was a referendum on George Bush and the War and you can bet that soon Articles of Impeachment will slowly be whispered about and eventually come to fruition.
Yes my friend the world will go on, the sun will rise, and our nation will continue to believe we are NOT AT WAR, that the economy is awful, the unemployment rate is a LIE, the stock market only makes rich people happy and Tax cuts are bad for the deficit!!
Me too. Even if it is a socially conservative and fiscally moderate or liberal Democrat versus a libertarian hawk Republican who is socially liberal (Chafee was left of many Democrats), I'd go with the Democrat.
Another one who ran to the left of her conservative opponent who will abandon all that conservative nonsense once he gets back to D.C.
No, they are not.
Allen's lead has dropped to 3100 votes.
Republicans, not being conservative, set this up!
FOX is not calling TN, but saying it's over
Shhh.:)What about our guy Santorum-tell me now.
You mean those GOP conservatives like Chris Shays and Nancy Johnson? Sorry, no sale here. It's more regional and economic factors + Iraq.
Who has ever said "we'll win every time" with a conservative candidate? All I know is that the GOP was a minority party until it nominated a conservative - Reagan - for president. A lot of conservative Republicans are losing tonight - and a lot of liberal Republicans are losing tonight (think Chafee, DeWine, Nancy Johnson). It's a bad night to run as a Republican, unfortunately.
About what I thought.
If Corker and Talent win, senate stays GOP.
I do believe.
> "When all is said and done, historians will regard George W. Bush as one of history's greatest Presidents"
OK, here's one who says it. "When all is said and done, historians will regard George W. Bush as one of history's greatest Presidents".

This one is officialy insane. BUT
THE MAN OF STEELE LIVES!!!!
LIVE IT, LOVE IT.
Talent will do it. And Tenn. wil do it too!
Me too. Tomorrow is another day.
Sleep well and be rested for work tomorrow. Millions on welfare, and now probably millions more, depend on us to pay our taxes!
No, just morons.
I wonder how they're feeling about their chances with the Democrats on their ONE BIG ISSUE?
It is unthinkable that America should lose a war because of a few traitors in the Congress.
Like I said - there's prescedent for the President simply ignoring the Congress with regard to war. Heck, there's prescedent for even stronger measures.
To keep Maryland from seceding, Lincoln simply had Maryland Legislators thrown into jail. Ugly, sure.
But, if needs must...
But I left when I was 18, and have been all over the place since then.
How's Glens Falls been doing? I remember hitch hiking to Glens Falls as a teenager, to go the library, which had quite a few more books then our town library, run by Helen Cruickshank, had in a little alcove above the fire house. She must have been 103 years old, or so it seemed to me at the time.
And my family would drive to Glens Falls occassionally to go to the "Monkey Wards" store (Montgomery Wards).
