Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Oh, well I agree with that. I just know that typically Wall Street likes a divided Congress so I was sort of surprised you're already getting calls, but if they are truly worried about our losing the Senate too, then it makes sense.
Well, it's gone worse than I thought it would go and it's not over yet. I just hope I don't wake up in the morning to find out we've lost the Senate.
ALERT: President Bush to hold news conference at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Next time wear a decent pair of shoes and quit tossing around a football and spitting tobacco ..Allens a grown man not a frat boy.
As soon as Webb is ahead by one vote, the media will call it.....
Quote: "I stand by my opinion. I think the media won this election for the rats. Sure, we would have lost seats...that's normal. However, being spoon-fed pro-democrat, anti-Republican propaganda for the past 2-6 years has an effect on the voting, and they really ramped it up this year. These close races were easily swayed by the media."
I agree, but am looking to getting the House back. Unfortunately, once entrenched, it is difficult to overturn the majority party. We just have to hope their majority isn't that big.
If Allen loses does that mean the Senate is gone?
There's 133,000 absentee/military ballots out there. They're going to be counted. It's not over yet.
No...I meant the Americans that are Libs!
While the sheeple are ignorant or frightened, the Pelosi, durbin, Shumer, Hillary types are EVIL. They KNOW and get what our reality is with the Islamists, yet are only concerned with their own personal power.
Wow, you've outed yourself twice.
I am taking Advil as well... we tried, some more than others.
I very seldom say I will never do something, but in this I will agree with you and say I will NEVER vote for McCain. Also, as I have said in many other threads, my biggest political regret is ever voting for his lap dog Lindsey Graham. Hopefully, the '08 primary season will fix that error.
Any insights or predictions on which segments of Republicans sat this one out?
If it's that close then I would imagine that we'll have to wait for the absentee and military votes to be counted.
IN one respect I agree with you. Pubbies tend to be too nice too limp...they need strong leadership to carry them along like a Reaganesque figure. Bush is no Reagan for sure but there are hints of the greatness that he did not use effectively.
It's long past time to take off the gloves...and already I am hearing that they are dazed and will be courted by the dem majority to do their evil bidding.
Get that veto pen ready Dubya. And get rid of PC stuff.
YES ON 85, NO ON 86.
Let's do it.
Me either. I felt worse when Papa Bush lost in '92 to the Toon. This too shall pass. My biggest concern now is for our troops.
Thank you very much Romanesq. I a little with some freepers who are gloating tonight because they want to tell us "I told you so".
JD lost because he is a jerk and comes off as one to voters.
He promised to only serve 3 terms, this would be his 6th or 7th.
I voted for him, but, I won't miss him.
