There IS no big-government social right.
Who the hell do you think is in the drivers seat?....a nanny stater, big government social right that has abandoned any concept of fiscal resposbilityhis and individual freedom.

The more the merrier, and chicks are always welcome!! :-) It's November though. Could get a little chilly for the next eight months or so. But that's what fireplaces and snuggling under bearskin are for. :-)
NorthWoody, you ought to start a ping list on this subject, the worse things look the more scared people will be!

Agree, but it's a damn shame that many Americans are so damned naive that we have to go through this from time to time.
They're not naive. They're socialists and communists. One commonality between the socialists and the terrorists is their hatred for Democracy.

You've lost it. Far right nutcases put people off. Thirty years of moving the nation to the right and dweebs like you stop it in its tracks.
Bush and Rove Marxists? Bwahahahahaha.

Don't blame me, I voted for him.
There has been a huge, last week "hate and smear" campaign from Mitchell, quoting the AZ Republic (which co-incidentally failed to endorse Hayworth for the first time in, like, forever).
Same class envy, "vote for change" sh*t that Peterson tried against Kyl.
The ignorant FDR generation are the ones responsible; them, and the illegal immigrant vote.
Full Disclosure: The reason that Arizona didn't flood during Hurricane Katrina is that our governor is the biggest dyke in the world.
NO cheers, unfortunately.

If the hotshots on tv call the 7, will they then stop coverage and go home for the night?

Those conservative democrats may no longer exist! Those votes were 20 years ago. I am unconvinced the "Reagan Democrat" exists as a political force now.

If the remaining Prince William precincts are similar to the ones already counted, Webb will tighten it a bit more (to ~4000 votes), but will not overtake Allen.
In any case, it's a nail-biter. Recount will take weeks...

W's still got his veto pen, and the Senate's going to hold. That means the SCOTUS is going to flip. Stevens and Ginsberg are out.
W is going to have to find that pen, though the issue is going to be budget. If Congress decides to cut funding to the troops, that will be the end for D's, probably permanently.
We're going to have to go to guns on Iran. Syria is going to attack Israel.
Historically, these shifts happen during mid-terms.
I don't think the world's going to implode, especially with the wingnuts that will be in charge there. Also, if you think we had issues with RINO's, wait until you meet the DINO's. Schuler, for example, is an evangelical Christian, which means he's probably pro-life. The R's actually recruited him to run, so I don't think Pelosi is going to get much traction for whatever agenda she might have.
Tax cuts are going to be another issue.

They never saw the open border policy as their potential downfall. I bet they do now. If illegal aliens are rubber stamped now, the GOP will be dead forever.
You can't fight a WOT with open borders.

The Fairness Doctrine is pointless and irrelevant in a world where the internet and satellite radio are constantly grabbing market share from both major forms of broadcast media (television and radio).
If it makes you feel any better, I'm predicting that terrestrial radio as an industry is slowly circling the toilet right now and may not survive in any meaningful form after the end of Rush Limbaugh's current contract.

The terrorists see this as a victory as well.
