Candidate Party Vote Count % Votes Cast

Thomas Hayhurst Dem 75,481 45.4%
What actually matters is what precincts are reporting. If Baltimore City is not in that 35%, then Steele has obviously lost.
the Dems are gaming it, holding back Richmond precincts to "see how many votes they need", then reporting them.
I'm sure nobody else will agree with me, but the biggest reason Republicans lost so much popularity is because gas prices stayed too high, too long. Yeah they came down over the last 3 months, but by then, the damage was already done.
Yes...if the weatherman is pissing on me and telling me it's rain.
Well, it looks like we are gonna hold Foley's seat here in Florida, and Republican Charlie Crist will be our next Governor. An amendment blocking eminent domain passed overwhelmingly, as well as an amendment to give property tax breaks to disabled veterans. My Republican Congressman for District 12, Adam Putnam, basically ran unopposed and won easily. Things are going pretty good here in Florida.
"Harry Reid is on FNC gloating"
I'm getting completely the opposite, he's hedging saying "I never said we'd win the majority" and I think he knows the Dems won't take the Senate. He seems subdued to me...
CFR will probably be used to shut us conservatives' PACS down.
Thanks, McCain/Feingold/GWB.
Ed
Remember what the G****mn democrat lawyers said in 2000. If the election is close, just keep counting the ballots until you pull ahead and then stop the count.
G F Allen Republican 1,097,708 49.71%
J H Webb Jr Democratic 1,083,988 49.09%
I appreciate your thoughts on that and I'll agree too, to a point. When you don't protect the states against invastion though, it's tough to call a person principled, especially when they swore an oath to do so.
Precincts Reporting: 2337 of 2443 (95.66%)

Now closer to 96%. VA will hold, recount or not!

So it looks like we're going to hold the Senate? I thought the three races to watch were RI, VA and TN, and it looks like Allen is going to barely win in VA. I thought I saw on Fox that the Republican was winning in TN too.
"chalk this entiely on the head of McCain and the Rockefeller Republicans that got a lot of what they wanted and still jumped ship. Absolutely worthless. I'd trade them for the Indy's that went for "conservative" Dems in a heartbeat."
Amen! You just keep hitting them out of the park tonight. Our party is going to go the Left after this, and it's going to pay for it big time. Tonight's loss is the RINOs' fault.
Thanks to that wonderful legal/illegal the current
Republican leadership is mesmerized with.
Nothern Viginia; one of the strangest looking places in America.
Wait for a low point before you start getting back in........
Again, go ahead, take us to the Left, see where it gets you. It's sad how some people will never learn.
