Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
I'd say in three parts if you include the folks who didn't vote.
LOL - like you do.
Midterm elections are all about energizing your base. The GOP approach to illegal immigration depressed the base rather than energizing it. That spells defeat in midterm elections.
We've been telling you guys this for months and exactly what we said would happen did happen. When are you guys going to start living in reality?
I'm anxious to know the military absentee vote.
What's making me really sick is seeing that Americans have turned their backs on the military and fighting the jihadists.
It's just what Spain did and the jihadists are having the last laugh.
Thanks, Bombard. I really needed to see that post. I've been having a really tough time with these results tonight (especially Santorum, Steele, Swann and Ehrlich so far).

I am becoming more and more an elitist. The average voter is such a brainless wonder, thinking the RATS are better at controlling spending or safegarding America or cutting taxes, according to poll questions. WHAT TYPE OF CRACK ARE THEY SMOKING???!!
"And remember, Independents are most likely to be swayed by the msm."
As I see it, the MSM are the real winners, they have the power to influence an election and I believe, wholeheartedly, that is precisely what has happened in this election.
He went to the tanning salon.I can tell:)
Oh thanks for bringing that up...I flipped over to see and Hillary's on!
Anyone know which parts of TN are still out? Hopefully, not Shelby Co (Memphis).
Tonight the lottery number in Pennsylvania was 666.
A perfect storm for Republicans on this issue at least. They were damned if they did and damned if they didn't.
Dems just sat back and did the cheshire cat thing even though their position is far more open borders than any Republican.
Dems see the illegals flooding in as potential Unionista supporters...just like dem Boss Tweed viewed the Irish in the 19th century.
G F Allen Republican 1,075,216 49.67%

Agreed. If we're looking for scapegoats, I don't think Free Republic is the place to look ... either the GOP "bashers" or GOP "bots".
We can argue on here all night, but I'll bet 95 per cent of us pulled the lever for Republicans today.
We should save our anger for the traitorous national media and the coddled, brain dead American public.

Well hold on because you KNOW it is going to get worse.
Our only solace would be if we hold the Senate.
Someone else said it, I read through these so quickly but historically it's not THAT bad if the Repubs actually hold the Senate in a President's 6th year.
And the absentee votes should go to Allen by a bigger margin.
