Texas isn't very interesting this time around except for the Governor's race. We know that Senator Hutchinson will win and so will most if not all incumbents.
TX-22 might be the one interesting spot outside of the governor's race.

Key races here:
Missouri Senate (Too close to call; I think Talent will hold on narrowly)
New Jersey Senate (Too close to call; I think Kean will pick it up narrowly)
Pennsylvania Senate (Too close to call; I think it will be a crapshoot)
Tennessee Senate (I think Corker will take it safely)

Texas State Rep. Seat #85 (Pete Laney's old seat) is VERY interesting and ugly up here.

It's nauseating to watch Matthews right now, he can hardly contain himself....
NJ will vote in Menendez - you have to be corrupt to get the voter pass in Jersey. arrrgh (though I always HOPE the GOP wins!)

waited in line for 30 minutes to vote in PA after work. So did I! In a precinct with about 1300 registered voters (3/4 republican) I was voter 910 at 6:45, and there were at least 50 people in line after me, with the polls closing at 8.

TX-17 here has been nasty since the Republican primary.
Sadly, a district that went for President Bush with 70% will be sending a Rat back to D.C.

Hi!
I have a question about absentee voting.
I read a post earlier today that stated the absentee votes (mail in, and early voting) was not counted unless it was a close race.
Is that true, and if so, what about States with a high percentage of absentee votes?

I finally figured out your reasoning...............alpha order.
Wouldn't it have been better to go by time zones?
Just wondering.
