While Soviet troops occupied Afghanistan in 1980, Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) worked in close concert with high level Kremlin officials to alter the direction of U.S. policy, according to documents made available through a KGB defector.

useful idiot ted, bfl
He must have a hell of a cardiologist to keep his big rotundous pile of lard alive and walking.
In fact, I bet he takes so many cardiac meds he keeps them in a PEZ container and eats them like candy.

we should save it to our own files for easy access.

How credible is the news source, Cybercast News Service?
It all reads as very feasible, but I am not familiar with the source site.
see my post 87 for correction on e.d. hills email - :o(
E.g:
Kennedy had offered to help the Soviets organize a public relations campaign in the U.S. that would dilute support for Reagan's policies.
Charles Dunn, dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, told Cybercast News Service Kennedy's activities were in "clear violation of the U.S. Constitution and at the expense of presidential authority."
Romerstein said that Kennedy, and other senators, may have violated the Logan Act, which has been on the books since 1799, but is rarely enforced. The law prohibits American citizens from engaging in private diplomacy with a foreign government with the intention of influencing public policy.
"He [Kennedy] was no more loyal to the Soviets than he was to the United States.," Romerstein said.
Kennedy's office was contacted but declined to comment on the communication the senator had with the KGB, as reported in the Mitrokhin papers.
I believe you're right.
bump for later reading
Is the construction cone in place so children stay out of the way and dont get crushed?
Kennedy isn't the only Democrat who shows up the Mitrikhin Papers. John Conyers, Alan Cranston and others all named as Commie contacts. Nobody knows about it because the press protects its comrades.
Cutting and running, while providing covering fire for Red Ted and Smarty Pants Jon Kerri.
It's treason even if he had been a PFC (Private F'n Civilian) The difference is that his trial and punishment could be handled under the UCMJ and military courts-martial instead of in a civilian federal court.
It is to anyone who isn't named Kennedy.. if you are named Kennedy its called "reaching out to the disaffected".
Well, personally I hope the Dems and their supporters DO vote on Nov. 8, but for me and my household, we will vote on Nov. 7. ;^)
Just funnin' with ya.
