"Pelosi's Slap at Security"
By Josh Manchester
New York Post | November 22, 2006
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "House Speaker-to-be Nancy Pelosi intends to install Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-Fla.) as chairman of the House Intelligence Com mittee. But Hastings poses an incredible security risk.
He was removed from office as a federal judge in 1989 for taking a $150,000 bribe to render light sentences and other perks to two mobsters. And his latest disclosure forms list $2 million to $7 million in liabilities (mostly for legal fees).
Were Hastings a regular Joe applying for a security clearance of the lowest kind for a job at the CIA or FBI, he'd be rapidly and roundly denied. His history of public corruption, coupled with his precarious financial situation, makes him ripe to be targeted for espionage."

"Terrorists give order: Jews must evacuate"
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | November 21, 2006 | Aaron Klein
Posted on 11/22/2006 4:41:25 AM PST by Man50D
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "TEL AVIV The only way to stop the regular rocket fire on Sderot, an Israeli city of about 20,000 nearly three miles from the Gaza Strip border, is for the Jewish state to evacuate the entire city, Hamas announced in a statement today. "Only the departure of residents from Sderot will stop the rocket fire," Abu Abaida, spokesman for Hamas' so-called military wing, said in a statement to reporters.
"There are no limits on our rocket attacks and we will prove that in coming days. We advise residents of Sderot to evacuate," the Hamas spokesman said.
Asked by WND if his statement was rhetoric or whether the Hamas leadership actually sanctioned a call for Israeli residents to evacuate, Abu Abaida replied, "We are very, very serious. The evacuation can be done in the next days or even up to several weeks, but it must be done. And after that, we will stop all rocket fire unless the Zionists continue more military operations in Gaza"
Abu Abaida said Hamas is seeking to impose "a new equation in which the Zionists understand that for every incursion into Gaza, we will use our rockets to bombard your towns and cities until more and more are forced to evacuate. Our rockets have already improved, as Sderot residents know. We keep working on (the rockets) to improve deadliness, force and distance."
Indeed, Israeli security sources said Palestinian rockets fired in recent weeks at Sderot have been packed with more explosive material than ever before."
Very cool, thanks!
Sending card. :-)

6 Men
Noted, thanks.
Again, thank goodness Martha Stewart was sent to prison and not this guy.
`rolls eyes`
Regarding the 6 imams - the police report states that the seatbelt extension was under the imam's feet on the floor.
Why would they ask for seatbelt extensions?
Richard Reid (shoe bomber) was tied up by passengers with various items the passengers could find on the plane, ie. speaker cords, seatbelt extensions.
It's just odd.
Major Blow To The Mafia
Cindy Clyne
Wednesday, November 22, 2006
A massive raid in Montreal has dealt a major blow to the Mafia.
More than 700 officers from several police forces raided several Montreal-area locations. They arrested 90 people, including 82-year-old Nicolo Rizzuto.
Rizzuto's son, Vito Rizzuto, was deported to the U.S. earlier this year to face charges in connection to the murder of three members of the reputed Bonanno crime family in New York.
In total, R.C.M.P say more than 1,300 charges could be laid against the suspects, including attempted murder, extortion, book-making, drug dealing and gangsterism.
Thanks Oorang...and I will be passing this on!!
Rolling eyes with raised eyebrows, too.
OPINION: Yes, it is odd.
Well now, this looks real interesting.
Thanks so much fanfan.

"Homegrown Terrorists Recruited to Attack America"
11/21/2006 11pm report
By Jackelyn Barnard
First Coast News
JACKSONVILLE, FL-- It's a video showing a room full of children sharing their dreams. They are not excited about being doctors, lawyers or teachers. Instead, the children shout, "We are the nation of Hezbollah. I shall sacrifice my life for Allah."
A group of children in training to be a mujahideen, or holy warrior.
Online there are videos of those warriors. One suicide bomber announces he is readying himself to blow up a group of American soldiers.
The video goes on for eight minutes and even shows the explosion. In the background are cheers from those taking the pictures.
The video is just some of the many the First Coast News I-team found on the internet from sites like Youtube and Myspace.
"I think right now we are a ticking time bomb,"
says Tom Hayden, a retired Lt. Col Marine, who is also a counter terrorism expert.
Hayden says some of the videos, while disturbing, are online for a reason."
Happy Thanksgiving to the TM FRiends!! Have a safe and blessed holiday.
Thank you for the ping fanfan.
