The Corner is reporting that John Kerry will hold a news conference at 2PM to discuss his recent comment.
Ok..I've been out of the loop- just got a phone call from my son (telling me how many college GRADUATES he served with in Iraq) and then turned on FOX. I heard what I THINK was an explanation from Kerry...he was making a JOKE about the PRESIDENT'S lack of education in making Iraq decisions...
Anyone else hear that?
I'm dumbfounded..

Even if it was, he's claiming that his actual statement was meant to imply that the President of the United States is uneducated. I don't see how that's a whole lot better than what he actually said.
God must truly be on our side!

Especially since President Bush had good grades as opposed to Kerrys. Someone in the dim party had to scramble fast to come up with "it was a joke" excuse. Pitiful, pathetic losers. Kerry said our troops are stupid. Not a joke and not funny.

You are absolutely right. If we have cut and run in Afghanistan then Kerry needs to explain to my children and me why my husband is headed for his 2nd deployment to Afghanistan in January!

BUT, they're playing the video of the presser and not his insult. I think the press conference was a replacement tactic.

But what else is new about him? Today, he was even worse in denigrating our troops. He defiled our Vietnam troops w/his lies. Now he's doing it again. I say, "Get the hook."

I almost posted a vanity on this - still might. We should call every Democrat up for election and ask them for their position on Kerry's statement. (Particularly those near military bases) Post them for the world to see. We certainly can't wait for the media to do their job.
Karl wants them so demoralized that they don't even bother to vote. He he he.
