Kerry stepped in it BIG TIME! He stepped in it yesterday. He should have gotten out while all he needed to do was wipe off his shoe. Now he's rolling around in it like a happy little pig. What a self-destroying jerk. And he probably doesn't see how ridiculous he looks outside of the circle of elitist liberals that he pretends are his friends.

Dr. Laura just said she wanted to slap Kerry across the face but McCain did it for her. She is talking about what Kerry said on her talk show right now. She says Kerry is disgusting. "He has insulted all those who serve" "To think that he was a breath away from being the president, that's scary"
To: bray
Oh boy... check out the DUmmies having a hissy fit.... look for MSNBC to pick up their talking points by 4pm.

Republican response to Kerry is insulting/CLASSIST!

Kerry stated the facts -
1. Those who sign up for the military are often those (poor) without educational options.
2. Those who enlist do so for based upon the "travel and get an education" sales pitch. The wealthy can travel and become educated, without joining the army.
Why do you think the R's cut educational funding? It's to "keep the military strong."
This makes me furious. My father served in Vietnam, and you can bet your ass that if his mother could have sent him to college, he'd have had a student deferment just like Limbaugh and other outraged rich white boys who are pissing on Kerry today.

Can you just believe this last sentence, "attacks on Kerry?" "Snow was clearly prepped and probably looking to fire up the Republican faithful with attacks on Kerry, one of their favorite punching bags."
From NBC's Kelly O'Donnell and Huma Zaidi
White House press secretary Tony Snow and Sen. John Kerry (D) are engaged in a war of words over comments Kerry made at a campaign event in Los Angeles yesterday for California gubernatorial nominee Phil Angelides. Both might have a little base-politicking in mind, Snow for 2006 and Kerry for 2008.
Kerry, who was speaking to a group of students, warned them that those who don't study hard or do well in school could "get stuck in Iraq." At today's White House press briefing, Snow said Kerry should apologize to US troops and their families for insinuating that those who serve in the military are not smart. "What Senator Kerry ought to do first is apologize to the troops," Snow said. "This is an absolute insult. And I'm a little astonished that he didn't figure it out already." Snow was clearly prepped and probably looking to fire up the Republican faithful with attacks on Kerry, one of their favorite punching bags.

Which is stupid because the REPUBLICANS did that this year already, and Bush vetoed it, and he'll veto it again, and they won't be able to override the veto.
To: Soul Seeker
He must have said "I'm not going to stand for it..." 5 times.
What are his options?
Quit?
Migrate to another country?
He has already tried lying, cheating, twisting the truth and misdirection, so those aren't options.
Oh! Maybe he can just bend over.
