The Corner is reporting that John Kerry will hold a news conference at 2PM to discuss his recent comment.
FNC playing the video of McCain from earlier today
LOL
Well, CheneyChick was right: this was the MOTHER of all spins!
Oh, Carl Cameron is saying that this is comparable to the Wellstone funeral!
Now Fox is running McCain's statement: doesn't sound like John thought it was a JOKE or a MISPEAK.
You're right-when he figures it out, they'll put him in the rubber room.
"I think we just witnessed one of the great political meltdowns of all time."
Yep. It was one clinical projection on top of another! The man is suffering from narcissitic borderline personality disorder!
God,how I loathe him!!
Carl Cameron doesn't want to over-state, but he compares this Kerry gaffe to the Wellstone memorial flap.
I'm glad he spoke out on this, but I will still NEVER vote for McCain.
Carl Cameron on FNC just said "did we just witness the Democrats doing another Welstone moment? ... snatching defeat from the jaws of victory?"
Good analysis.
Maybe he is the Manchurian candidate... but somehow Rove has him working for our side;)
Ah, arrogance. It be a curse.
That and outright stupidity. LOL.
I had a feeling it would be late, though timed for 2PM, in order to blunt the opportunity for Rush to make comments. Lurch even got that wrong, too.
I said in another place that these Democrats/Leftists rarely make me mad anymore. This is an exception. Kerry can Golf Foxtrot himself, and his entire party.
Every time he talks about those who didn't serve versus those who did, I'm reminded of three names: Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole. The one who DIDN'T serve was elected over the ones who certainly did.
Every time I hear about "afraid to debate REAL MEN", I think about an alleged "real man" who is afraid to debate a REAL WOMAN (Murtha/Irey).
Every time I hear attacks about how the President sent our troops to Iraq, I am reminded about the vote and the extra vote that was demanded by the party in control of the Senate in 2002, which echoed many of their statements from 1998 (for those in Rio Linda, that would be BEFORE Bush was president, and when BUBBA was facing impeachment). As I recall, the Flurchness Munster was one of those YEA votes from the majority party in power.
A majority that became a minority, not long after the Authorization vote, at which time their true nature emerged ("He betrayed this country!" "It's the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time!" "Week after week after week after week, we were told lie after lie after lie after lie!" "Iraq is George Bush's Vietnam!")
I could go on, but why bother? John Fing Kerry is not worth me getting Carpool Tunnel Syndrome.
That was certainly a disappointment. Kind of brushed it off as no big deal...~sigh~
Some of this "indignation" is tactical in my view. Just like Clinton's reaction in the Wallace interview. Kerry and the DNC know that stepped in it big time - and the only way out is to invigorate the base. It won't work - especially with the Veterans, McCain statements, etc. What a moron.
Watching Kerry is like watching a Detroit Lions game.
This is the Wellstone moment where fellow dems and the msm try to go on offense and only end up being offensive.
I'mmmmmm lovin' it!
The thing I love the most is that when left the run, all his buttboys slapped him on the back and told him "You got it"...........har.
Storms coming!
This is in all seriousness: I can't think of another living human being I hate more than Kerry.
Hate isn't even a strong enough word...
