FREEP THIS POLL: Did Limbaugh Go Too Far in Criticizing Fox?
MSNBC ^ | 10/25/2006 | MSNBC

Do you think Rush Limbaugh went too far in accusing Michael J. Fox of exaggerating the effects of Parkinson's disease? * 115743

VOTE HERE!!!

Yes. 84%

No. 14%

I don't know. 1.6%

I had to look into this one because the way the media reported it, it sounded like Rush did go too far. But then you find out that this is a tactic of Michael J. Fox that he has previously admitted using to enhance sympathy for his cause. Well, then that makes Rush's comment 100% accurate.

I suppose the alteration of a state Constitution is alllll but ignored in this mass deception, yes whether he is competent to know it or not MJFox spewed deception.

This is NOT about anything more than a state reach into the taxpayers pocket without ever telling us up front that is why one amends the constitution.

The amendment mentions 'medicaid', now who pays for medicaid???

Hannity was talking about this and said the whole criticism of Rush saying what he said about Fox is so unbelievable.

After all, Fox himself, admitted that when he appeared on the stand in front of the Senate, the Senate, he stopped taking his meds, so his condition would be at it's worst.

If he's willing to stand up for this Democrat, who voted against stem cell research himself, and he's doing so obviously because he's a Democrat, I don't think it's too far fetched at all, to think he stopped taking his meds.

And with that in mind, I don't think it's far fetched at all to think ANY democrat has stopped taking their meds. After all, look around us. They've all gone completely mad.

Not only that, but I highly highly doubt ANY democrat can find the "cure" for his disease....no more than I found it believable that John Kerry could make people walk again. Now THAT was freakin' funny...

Once he became a player in the political arena by taking sides and becoming an advocate, Michael J. Fox is fair game for criticism. It is a well known liberal practice to hide behind widows, the sick, and the physically disabled so that commentators and the public in general would be intimidated from criticizing their liberal agenda. For years, the liberals and their surrogates have gotten away with this kind of manipulation.

I'm glad we have Rush Limbaugh who doesn't get fooled by these tactics, and tells it like is.

Here is the result of the poll.

Yes. 78%

No. 20%

I don't know. 1.8%

As a woman who has young onset Parkinson's Disease I found his comments insensitive to say the least. I have followed Michael J. Fox for years. Can we really say that he planned the ad just to disagree with us as political opponents? Can anyone really just do those kind of movements on command? A " God given gift"? Tremors and being sick with Parkinson's are not a god given gift for dramatics. My God look at his past video before he even took on a political ad. He was training to just disagree with us?I don't post here much and I am glad that I don't. I have been a member for years and this is truly the last line that I am willing to agree with. Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's years ago and by no means did he come forward to make any political party happy. Unless you have been there you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The movements displayed by Michael J Fox were displayed long before your cold comments. So he disagreed with you. Deal with it. There are just as many vets who have disabilities that go against the liberal stance that we back. I would never imagine that they did it to make someone else look less worthy as a political opponent. Aren't we beyond this? Get educated, get behind a good cause for our community and then post. This is sick.

What do you aspire for the cure of Parkinson's? What do we do and how do we do it? Nothing about being disabled is FUNNY. Let alone making light of it on a public forum. If a Dem cant find it then a Republican should make light of it? I would invite you into my house at any time to see how Parkinson's is hilarious for me and my family. We sit on the ground and laugh all the time that I cant walk on certain days. And your comments make it seem so much more.....easier? Sorry I missed your point.
