As a woman who has young onset Parkinson's Disease I found his comments insensitive to say the least. I have followed Michael J. Fox for years. Can we really say that he planned the ad just to disagree with us as political opponents? Can anyone really just do those kind of movements on command? A " God given gift"? Tremors and being sick with Parkinson's are not a god given gift for dramatics. My God look at his past video before he even took on a political ad. He was training to just disagree with us?I don't post here much and I am glad that I don't. I have been a member for years and this is truly the last line that I am willing to agree with. Michael J Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's years ago and by no means did he come forward to make any political party happy. Unless you have been there you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. The movements displayed by Michael J Fox were displayed long before your cold comments. So he disagreed with you. Deal with it. There are just as many vets who have disabilities that go against the liberal stance that we back. I would never imagine that they did it to make someone else look less worthy as a political opponent. Aren't we beyond this? Get educated, get behind a good cause for our community and then post. This is sick.

From page 247 of Michael J. Fox's autobiography Lucky Man, about his appearance before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on September 28, 1999:
I had made a deliberate choice to appear before the subcommittee without medication. It seemed to me that this occasion demanded that my testimony about the effects of the disease, and the urgency we as a community were feeling, be seen as well as heard. For people who had never observed me in this kind of shape, the transformation must have been startling.
Since Mr. Fox has a history of deliberately skipping his medications for dramatic impact, it was natural for Mr. Limbaugh to suspect him of doing the same thing again.
