As the Republican base fragments and Christian conservatives consider a fast from politics, the polling data point to a mid-term Republican thumping. Less than two weeks from now, Republicans will begin their post-mortem soul searching. And as the corpses of their House and Senate majorities grow cold, so should Karl Roves 2006 campaign strategy.

Oh I realize that most evolutionists dodge the initial origins of life question. However; without knowing HOW or WHY life begins and ends then the concept of ID is every bit as valid as ToE. The ToE is just the process of life between it's creation and its demise. Where is the "God" gene that provides the spark to animate an organism. Once evolutionists find that the debate is over.
Nope. It was to me.
I didn't think he cared. (wipes tear)
Nite Jim, sleep tight!
I see. And so when he and several of us asked what the heck was going on - i.e. was this just a weird software glitch, or had some other member broken into PH's account to do a little vandalism, or had some petty tyrant mod or other PTB decided to up and rip down a member's homepage, or what, it was you who decided not to say word one?
Hi Howlin. I've been posting here for a little while. I've been in all kinds of threads.
You talk about childishness, how about Jim deleting someone's profile page just for spite?
The 2nd law very specifically applies to a closed system. The earth is not a closed system. There is this thing called the Sun. It is the energy source that makes the 2nd law inapplicable in biology.
What has been hijacked is this thread! Instead of it being about the article posted at the head of this thread, is is FR's Darwinists V. Creationists.

Good night Jim. Looking forward to Saturday.
Wyatt, did it ever occur to you that living creatures are themselves open systems?
Hint: Murray Gell-Mann pointed this out in person at a seminar I once attended...
Cheers!
Libertarians are passé. :)
So even if she kills herself to *provide evidence to support her assertion*, how are YOU going to know if it's valid? Do you have the level of education that she does? Do you have the level necessary to understand and analyze any and everything she might post? Then what? You're going to sit in judgement and tell her it's not good enough after all? Or is she going to be expected to back up with more evidence the evidence she's already provided, as infinitum?
Why should she answer to you anyway? Who are you that can go around demanding answers to the same questions you pose everybody you have a discussion with? *Please provide evidence to support your assertions*. Do YOU ever do it? I don't really ever recall you reciprocating in kind.
What do you mean, dodge?
Evolution says nothing about the origin of life, because without life, there can be no evolution, so evolution states nothing, as far as how life came to be.
If a theory cannot exist before an event, that event will not be explained by the theory.
I hope that explanation was basic enough for you to understand.
The beginning of life could have been aliens from outer space, it could have been a cometary collision whcih had the proper amino acids on it, it could have been God reaching down with his glass chemical rod and swishing it into existence. It really does not matter to the theory of evolution, because without life, evolution could not exist, therefore the origin of life is of no consequence to the theory.
Actually, I only vaguely remember the incident. Chances are, I probably had them all on ignore which is probably better than banning the whole lot.
I agree that evolution does not address anything other than what happens during the animation cycle of an organism. It does not address how that organism came to be animated. If Evolution is that limited then science is left with a gaping hole and maybe it should be addressed. If science can reproduce "creation" in the lab then ID or Creationism is forever discredited.
Yes I am just an ignorant old engineer. That is a prime example of an evolutionist showing rabid religious condescension to a challenge to his dogma.
Are you a damned retreaded Libertarian?
