As the Republican base fragments and Christian conservatives consider a fast from politics, the polling data point to a mid-term Republican thumping. Less than two weeks from now, Republicans will begin their post-mortem soul searching. And as the corpses of their House and Senate majorities grow cold, so should Karl Roves 2006 campaign strategy.

If by "evolutionist" you mean a scientist who understands both the events and theory involved, our religion does not enter into it.
Religion is faith based, or (at least for me) should be.
Twisting the facts or deliberately mis-stating them to seemingly support one subset of one religion seems more like either the willful blindness of hubris or something more malignant like the so-called "Moonies".

I repeat my final sentence. No, I repeat my whole post.
You used some examples to show how obvious gravity is.
I used some to show how less than obvious gravity is.
If we have any scientists left who are willing to be called Marxists/Nazis whatever because they understand evolution, maybe they'll show up to explain some of the finer points of gravitational theory to you. My field is genetics.

When the helium is gone, it falls. Duh! Gravitation is still in effect. Everyone knows that when the forces temporarily overcoming gravitaion cease, gravitation is demonstrated. It takes work to keep a kite up. That does not mean that gravity is less obvious, on the contrary it reinforces just how strong it is.
