Prayer Request for JulieRNR21's Husband Richard (Update Post: #514)
15 October 2006
Posted on 10/15/2006 2:57:48 PM PDT by NautiNurse
Prayers requested for our stalwart FReeper JulieRNR21 and her beloved husband Richard. Richard is scheduled for surgery midday Monday in Sarasota for removal of a malignant tumor from his stomach. Previously, Richard was treated quite successfully for lower GI cancer. This new tumor appears to be unrelated to the initial malignancy (different cell type).
Julie, we are keeping you and Richard in our prayers.

oh my dear Julie.. what a blessed Christmas you & your dear Richard will share. I am so very thankful that things are "good" at this point. Isn't it amazing how our perspective on good/bad is modified in the face of ...well, the major crap in life?
I pray for you both daily & think of you continually. I do firmly believe that when God calls us &it is our time, we are "outta here".. but I feel it is not yet quite Richard's time & so he must endure for now the junk that is part of the human existence until he reunites with our creator.
I have such mixed emotions on all this Julie.. I love life.. but I also firmly believe it is SOOOOO much better to leave & make the transition to the eternal.. I am sure you & Richard have also had such conversations..
but, when God has us "stay" we can be assured that God has more work for us. It behooves us to find out what that is & ...OF COURSE, do it!!!!
