Son just called. Does anyone know anything?
I think that IS the stream address...pls try it...if not...I'll do more research....but it should work.
Leave Shep alone!
Fox affiliate is in Honolulu. They're having trouble contacting the other islands. No visuals yet.
Try this media stream address:

That said, I wonder why Fox News would bother showing file footage of people swimming at Hawaiian beaches. We all know that there are beaches there and that people like to swim in them. I had thought that things were pretty much normal there on account of this video.
You can always be counted on to launch into hysteria for every event. You simply got lucky with Katrina, kinda like the broken clock, or the Vonage commercial.
Power at least partially knocked out on every island, said Civil Defense spokesman Lani Goldman. On Oahu, 95 percent of customers were without power, he said.

Prayers going up for Hawaii Islands and all its citizens!!
Be safe!!
the link above to the thehawaiichannel.com is good, FNC should be monitoring that.
Wasn't Jaime Colby terrible? I was screaming at the tv with some of her questions. She seemed to be looking for bad news.

What a lot of people don't know is that there is a large body of water separating Hawaii from the U.S. mainland. And no one is being allowed to leave the islands to cross that water. In Hawaii, there is power outages and fear and confusion. There, on the mainland, there is electricity and water and food and HOPE. But you cannot get from here to there. And that's a fact.
Just let 'em go! Let this little baby go! Just let 'em swim the h**l across there!
And then some. Question to HI Freepers - are any of the buildings there ready for quakes?
The HI governor is a Republican. It won't go down like Katrina.
Good luck to everyone there.
That's it, thank you.. Though the data network over there is being hammered, I'm passing this on to a list of friends over there. There's a big powwow there this weekend.
fod goodness sake, don't get hysterical!
/sarcasm
They should be - this exact location has had at least 3 quakes bigger than this one in the last 150 years.
